The unit is equipped with 2 βearsβ for easy mounting. Mounting the sensor is simply done with 2 screws. The sensor will be equipped with a sticker on the back containing the serial number of the device both as a number and scannable QR code, along with the FCC code. This can be seen in Figure 2. This can only be done once and after this the device is always powered on and cannot be turned off. The device functions as a simple tracker and is operated by a single button. To avoid pushing the button by accident the button press needs to have a duration of 2 seconds. Pressing the button for 2 seconds will make the device collect a GPS position and report it back home to a server. When this process is started the LED will blink green 5 times. If the button is pressed for two seconds again within 2 minutes of the first button press the LED will blink red 5 times to signal it is busy.
