Users Manual

Please read this manual carefully before usingthe product. Wireless Motion Sensor User Manual Features ON OFF ON OFF Indicator Light The wireless motion sensor detects movement up to 12ft* away. It alerts the pager of a person’s activities when the person interrupts the motion sensor’s infrared field, as long as the motion sensor and the pager are within 300ft* of each other. It is applicable in facilities such as bedroom, doorway, near stairs etc. *Note: The range of wireless devices and detection distance may vary and be dependent on your specific environmental conditions. Infrared Sensor On/Off Switch Bracket Antenna Motion Sensor Adjustable Tilt Side View 1 Easy & Simple to Use The motion sensor detects movement and alters caregiver or staff when a person interrupts the motions sensor's infared field. Flexible on Installation Motion sensor may be mounted next to a bed to indicate when a person arises or placed by a doorway to indicate when a person is approaching the doorway. Frequency: 433MHz Operating Range: Up to 300ft* (in open area) Range Detection Area: see Picture A* Product Specifications Features 2 Picture A *Note: surrounding metal walls or other electronic devices might interfere or affect the signal range. Fully extend the antenna for the most optimal signal range. Power Supply: AA battery x 3 or 6-12V AC adaptor Mount the Motion Sensor Installation - Montion Sensor B. Wall Mount with Screws A. Wall Mount with Double Sided Tape The motion sensor may be affixed to most smooth, clean surfaces with the included double sided tape. The motion sensor may be more securely mounted to walls or headboards with the included screws. Use the recessed holes for screw placement on the motion sensor. If you use screws to fix the motion sensor to a permanent position, you will need to separate it and bracket before you screw the bracket to a fixture. 1. Rotate the motion sensor in it's bracket 90 degrees so that it is facing the ceiling. 2. Apply gentle pressure to one arm of the bracket so that the motion sensor can easily pop out. 3 Recessed Holes Double Sided Tape Mounting Bracket ON OFF Test the motion sensor by waving a hand in front of the infrared sensor. If the green indicator flashes, it means the sensor is working correctly and a signal is being sent by the motion sensor. Green when motion detected Setup - Montion Sensor Insert 3 new AA batteries into the motion sensor or a 6-12V DC adaptor. DC 6~12V 1 ON OFF Flip switch on front of the monitor to “ON” position. 2 3 4 This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to providereasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if notinstalled and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interferenceto radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occurin a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio ortelevision reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, theuser is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the followingmeasures: - Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. - Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. - Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which thereceiver is connected. - Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
