Read these instructions – All safety and operating instructions should be read before operating this speaker. 2. Keep these instructions – The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference. 3. Heed all warnings – All warnings on the speaker system and in the operating instructions should be adhered to. 4. Follow all instructions – All operating and use instructions should be followed. 5. Do not use this speaker system near water – These speakers should not be used near water or moisture, such as in a wet bathroom or near a swimming pool. 6. Clean only with a dry cloth. Avoid harsh solvents. 7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. 8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. 9. Do not defeat or inhibit in any way the safety of the polarized (US) power plugs. A polarized plug has two prongs, one wider than the other. The wide prong or the third circular prong improves the plug’s safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, do not modify the plug in any way. Instead, consult an electrician and replace your power outlet to be compatible with these power plugs. 10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at the power plug, at the point of connection between the plug and outlet, and at the point of connection between the power cable and speaker. 11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer. 12. When a cart or rack is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over. 13. Unplug the speaker during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. 14. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required when the system has been damaged in any way, such as when the power cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the speakers, they have been exposed to rain or moisture, they do not operate normally, or they have been dropped. 15. Do not install these speakers in a confined or closed-in space with little or no ventilation, such as a closed book case or similar unit. Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the speakers’ ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc. 16. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this 2 speaker system to rain or moisture. This system should not be exposed to dripping or splashing and objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should not be placed on the speakers. 17. WARNING: Make sure the system’s power plug and the electrical outlet are easily accessible so the speaker system can be quickly disconnected from power in case of emergency. 18. The equipment should be used at a maximum of 35º C (95ºF) ambient temperature. 19. No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the speakers. 20. A minimum distances of 5cm (1.97in) should surround the apparatus for sufficient ventilation. Warning: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the product. Evaluation Method and Limit Systems operating under the provisions of FCC 47 CFR section shall be operated in a manner that ensures that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy level in excess of the Commission’s guidelines. In accordance with 47 CFR FCC Part 2 Subpart J, section 2.1091 this device has been defined as mobile device whereby a distance of 0.2m normally can be maintained between the user and the device, and below RF Permissible Exposure limit shall comply with. In accordance with KDB447498D01 for Simultaneous transmission MPE test exclusion applies when the sum of the MPE ratios for all simultaneous transmitting antennas incorporated in a host device, based on the calculated/estimated, numerically modelled or measured field strengths or power density, is ≤ 1.0. The MPE ratio of each antenna is determined at the minimum test separation distance required by the operating configurations and exposure conditions of the host device, according to the ratio of field strengths or power density to MPE limit, at the test frequency. Either the maximum peak or spatially averaged results from measurements or numerical simulations may be used to determine the MPE ratios. Spatial averaging does not apply when MPE is estimated using simple calculations based on far-field plane-wave equivalent conditions. The antenna installation and operating requirements for the host device must meet the minimum test separation distances required by all antennas, in both standalone and simultaneous transmission operations, to satisfy compliance. 3.
