This is especially true in the evening before going to bed. After feeding and ‘burping’ your baby, you can place them on BabyUp ® where they can rest for as long as needed and desired. The slanted (45 degree) position is ideal for Tummy Time, encouraging the strengthening of muscles. In this angle the baby needs to be supervised at all times. It is advisable to get your baby used to BabyUp ® slowly as it might initially feel unusual for them. We recommend a gradual approach. Maximum load in BabyUp ® : 9 kg; standard load 6 kg Maximum load in Highchair: 15 kg; standard load 9 kg Your baby is safe to stay on BabyUp ® for several hours every day, depending on the signals your baby gives you, and as long as you feel that the baby is comfortable. To open: Unfold legs (B) until they click and lock open. 3. Holding the baby seat (C) tilted almost vertically, push in button (ii) on the main unit (A) and then slide the baby seat in to the slot (adjustment rail) whilst keeping the seat tilted upwards. 4. Rotate the baby seat (C) downwards to lock it in position at the desired height. See page 9 “Adjusting BabyUp ® to fit your baby’s needs” for further details. 2. Attach the main unit (A) onto legs (B) ensuring the spring-pins (i) click and lock in place on both legs. Place the lining (E) over the baby seat (C) ensuring the fabric is not trapped or gathered and that you have fed the two top buckles (iii) through the top-most slots in the lining. Zip the lining onto the main unit (A). 6. Slide the seat cover (D) over the baby seat (C). Note: Seat cover may come pre-attached. 7. Attach sling (F) to the main unit (A). IMPORTANT!
