Park your vehicle first. Switch off the device when refueling Do not use the eBling device at a re-fueling point (service station) or near fuels or chemicals. Switch off in an aircraft Wireless devices can cause interference. Using them in an aircraft is both illegal and dangerous. Switch off the device near all medical equipment Hospitals or health care facilities may be using equipment that could be sensitive to external radio frequency energy. Follow any regulations or rules in force. Interference All wireless devices may be subject to interference, which could affect their performance. Be aware of special regulations Meet any special regulations in force in any area and always switch off your device whenever it is forbidden to use it, or when it may cause interference or danger. Water resistance Your device is not water-resistant. Keep it dry. Sensible use Use only in the normal position. Keep your eBling away from small children Keep the device and all its parts, including the chain and accessories, out of the reach of small children. 2 Accessories and batteries This device contains a non-user serviceable lithium ion battery. Use only Electron Mint-approved accessories, such as USB cables. Use of any unauthorized accessories could damage you or your device and may be dangerous. 3 Unpack Make sure you have each item ●eBling Device ●Neck Chain ●Chain Ring ●USB-C cable Get Started First steps to operate your device: Charge the eBling 1.Plug the USB-C cable into the back of the eBling device 2.Plug the other end of the cable into a USB outlet 3.When the device is fully charged, unplug the cable from the USB outlet 4.Remove the other end of the USB-C cable from the eBling device. Low Battery indicator The battery charge level is displayed from the Electron Mint App. Connect your eBling to the App to check battery status. If the battery level is almost depleted, the eBling device will display a Low Battery status message and power itself off after a few seconds. If you encounter this state, plug your eBling device in to charge. Push using a small wire. Small Hole on back of the device. Touch screen-Long press (1sec) left half of the screen to advance to the next image/video -Long press (1sec) the right half of the screen to go back to previous image/video -See-below for additional specific context options Screen on the front 4 Discovery and Connection to your eBling Status Screen Your eBling device will wirelessly advertise withthe name “eBling”. This name will be displayed in the discovered devices section of the Electron Mint App. If multiple eBling devices are in the same area you can temporarily uniquely identify your device by entering the Status Screen before discovering the device from the App. To enter the Status screen, long press and hold anywhere on the touch screen for about 10 seconds. This will bring up the Status Screen, which shows a field “ID:xxxxx”, where xxxxx represents a random 5 digit number. While this screen is active your eBling device will advertise with the name “eBling xxxxx” and will show up in the App’s discovered devices with that name. Once discovery and connection is complete, long press anywhere on the display to exit the Status Screen and reset the advertised name to “eBling”. Additional information on the status screen is the device firmware version number, FCCID, and Electron Mint web site address. See “FCC ID” section below for an example of this information. Connecting to your eBling Follow instructions in the Electron Mint App to complete the connection process. Solve problems To save the time and expense of an unnecessary service call, perform the simple checks in this section before contacting a service professional. Is your eBling device charged? Is the eBling screen brightness set to greater than zero? Do you have the latest version of the Electron Mint mobile app? Do you have the latest firmware installed on the eBling device? Is wireless device connectivity turned on in your mobile device? Is your mobile device on? Is your mobile device charged? Factory Reset 5 In the case that you would like to erase all user data from your eBling device, you can do so using the Factory Reset operation. To enter the “Factory Reset” mode, do the following: 1)Press and release the power button to turn off the device. Wait at least one second. 2)Press and hold the power button to turn on the device. Continue to hold the power button until the “Factory Reset” screen appears (after the initial power up screen). 3)To reset all information stored on the device, select “YES”. This operation may take up to 45 seconds depending on the amount of data stored. 4)Select “No” to cancel and return to normal operation. Using Your eBling Near Other Electronic Devices Most modern electronic equipment is shielded from radio frequency (RF) signals. However, certain electronic equipment may not be shielded against the RF signals from your wireless phone or devices. Consult the manufacturer to discuss alternatives. Pacemakers Pacemaker manufacturers recommend that a minimum distance of 15 cm (6 inches) be maintained between wireless devices and a pacemaker to avoid potential interference with the pacemaker. These recommendations are consistent with the independent research and recommendations of Wireless Technology Research. If you have any reason to suspect that interference is taking place, switch off your eBling device immediately.
