User Manual Tablet PC N OVAT-15 NOTICE ● Keep the device and all accessories out of the reach of small children. ● Do not use or store the device in dusty, hot, cold, electric, chemical, moist, or magnetic areas. ● Do not drop, shake or knock the device. Rough handling can break the device. ● Do not leave the device into areas that may become hotter without attention, like tables in sunshine, a car with all windows closed, or on bed & charging, because the device can get to very high temperature and may cause accident. ● Never play the device while driving! Keep your eyes focusing on the road. ● Please turn off the device in aircraft and follow any restrictions. W ireless devices can cause interference in aircraft. ● Please do not disassemble the device or change the case personally, as it will void your warranty. ● Please use proper power adapter along with packing, or suggested by qualified sellers. ● Availability and network speed depend on the User's network, and 4G/3G/2G data network fees apply. ● Due to different marketing period, product update, regional disparities, System update or such reasons, we may, without notifications to you, change or modify some functions which could be different from the content in this page, please refer to real product received. Main Functions Overview ● Phone call function. ● Messaging function. ● W ireless connections via Wi-Fi or 4G/3G/2G networks. ● Emergency Call function without SIM card. ● GPS location & navigation function. ● Bluetooth function. ● FM radio function. ● System: Android TM 11 ● Built-in multiple languages. ● Different applications supported (.apk files). ● Various music file supported. ● 1080P videos supported. ● Pictures browsing with zooming and slide-show. ● E-book reading with bookmark function. ● Photographing and Video recording ● Built-in Email client. ● Built-in electronic calculator. ● Built-in electronic calendar ● Built-in voice recorder. ● All-directional G-Sensor. ● Built-in speaker and microphone. ● High-speed USB connection with PC. ● External Micro-SD card supported. ● External mouse and keyboard supported via OTG. Basic Operation Power On Press Power button for around 2 seconds and the device will start up and display the lock screen. Slide up to unlock the device, if needs password or pattern, please input them to unlock device. Power Off / Restart Press Power button for around 2 second and choose Power off in the popup, or choose Restart to re-boot the device. Standby When the device is working, press Power button shortly to shut the screen and it goes into standby mode. Press Power button again to awake the device, and slide the lock to continue. Volume + / - At most interfaces, the volume buttons are used to adapt sound. At some interfaces, the volume buttons can be used to switch between selections, or zoom in / out, or take a picture. Home Screen ● Notification Bar: At the top of screen. It displays time, battery, W i-Fi signals, and notification icons or previews, etc. ● Notification Panel: Slide down from Notification Bar. It displays switchers of functions and notifications. Tap the switchers to turn ON/OFF functions. Tap the notifications to open it, or slide it leftwards quickly to clear the notification. You can also slide the notification leftwards or rightwards slowly, and click to delay the notification, or click to set notification type. ● Navigation Button: At the bottom of screen. Back Button Tap it to go to the previous page. Home Tap it to go to Home Screen. Recent Task Tap it to view recent tasks. Tap the task frame to open it, or long press it to remove from list. ● Google Search W idget: Tap the W idget to input keywords or tap the icon for voice search (need network). ● Enter App Menu: At Home Screen, slide up to enter App menu, in which you can view all Apps list and search Apps. ● Add Home Screen Apps: You can add App icon to Home Screen from App menu by long pressing App icon and move to Home Screen before loosen your finger. Click App icon to open it. Long press App icon to see most used functions and choose one to open. ● Remove Home Screen Apps: Long press App icon and move to top of screen to remove it. ● Home Screen Settings: Long press blank area of Home Screen, you can set WALLPAPERS , WIDGETS and SETTINGS from pop-up options. Tap SETTINGS and make general Home Screen settings. ● Set Wallpaper: Long press blank area of Home Screen, choose WALLPAPERS , and choose a way to open wallpapers. After choose a picture, tap Set wallpaper , set wallpaper as Home screen , or Lock screen, or Home screen and lock screen. ● Add Widgets to Home Screen: Long press blank area of Home Screen, choose WIDGETS , and press a widget and move to Home Screen before loosen your finger. ● Home Screen Pages: Long press a widget or App icon on Home Screen, and move to left or right edge of screen, the widget or App icon will be moved to another page (if no existed page, it will create a new page). At Home Screen, slide leftward or rightward to switch between pages. App Menu At Home Screen, slide up to enter App Menu, in which you can view all Apps list and search Apps. At App Menu, Slide up and down to view all Apps. Click an App icon to open it. Click Search apps to search Apps. Enter keywords of App name to search for Apps. At search result, click App icon to open it. Wi-Fi ● Connect to Wi-Fi With Wi-Fi network, you can connect to the internet or other network devices anywhere an access point or wireless hotspot is available. ● Activate the Wi-Fi (1) At App Menu, tap Settings , (2) Tap Network & Internet, tap Wi-Fi switcher to turn on it. You can also turn on Wi-Fi from Notification Panel. (3) Once you enter W i-Fi, the device automatically searches for available W i-Fi connection. (4) Tap the name to select a Wi-Fi. The SAR systems (including SAR probes, system components and software versions) used for this device were validated against its performance specifications prior to the SAR measurements. Reference dipoles were used with the required tissue- equivalent media for system validation, according to the procedures outlined in FCC KDB 865664 D01 v01 and IEEE 1528-2013. Since SAR probe calibrations are frequency dependent, each probe calibration point was validated at a frequency within the valid frequency range of the probe calibration point, using the system that normally operates with the probe for routine SAR measurements and according to the required tissue-equivalent media. A tabulated summary of the system validation status including the validation date(s), measurement frequencies, SAR probes and tissue dielectric parameters has been included.
