Maximum Permissible Exposure 3.1 RF Exposure calculation According to the FCC rule Β§1.1310 the limit for General Population/Uncontrolled exposure is 1 γ½/γ for the device operating 1 500 γ ~ 100 000 γ. The electric field generated for a 1 γ½/γΒ² exposure is calculated as follows: E = β (30 * P * G) / D, and S = EΒ² / Z = EΒ² / 377, because 1 γ½/γΒ² = 10 W/mΒ² S = Power density in γ½/γΒ², Z = Impedance of free space, 377 Ξ© P = Power input to the external antenna (Output power from the EUT antenna port (γm) β cable loss (γ)), E = Electric filed strength in V/m, G = Numeric antenna gain, and D = distance in meter Combing equations and rearranging the terms to express the distance as a function of the remaining variable D = β (30 * P * G) / (377 *10 S) Changing to units of γ½ and cm, using P (γ½) = P (W) / 1 000, d (γ) = 0.01 * d (m) D = 0.282 * β (P * G) / S νμ΄μ§(page) : ( 7 )/( μ΄(Total) 7 ) ICRT-QPA-17-03 Rev.2 Report No. ICRT-TR-E231005-0A 3.2 Result According to above equation, the following result was obtained. Radiated Spurious Emission 9.1 Operating environment Temperature : 24 Β°C Relative humidity : 48 % 9.2 Measurement method Standard : Β§15.247 (d), Β§15.209, Β§15.205 9.3 Test setup The radiated emissions measurements were performed on the 3 m, Semi-Anechoic Camber. The EUT was placed on a non-conductive turntable above the ground plane. The frequency spectrum from 9 γ to 26.5 γ was scanned and maximum emission levels at each frequency recorded. The system was rotated 360Β°, and the antenna was varied in the height between 1.0 m and 4.0 m in order to determine the maximum emission levels. This procedure was performed for horizontal and vertical polarization of the receiving antenna. 9.3.1 Below 30 γ νμ΄μ§(page) : ( 76 )/( μ΄(Total) 116 ) ICRT-QPA-17-03 Rev.2 Report No. ICRT-TR-E230988-0A 9.3.2 30 γ to 1 γ 9.3.3 Above 1 γ νμ΄μ§(page) : ( 77 )/( μ΄(Total) 116 ) ICRT-QPA-17-03 Rev.2 Report No. ICRT-TR-E230988-0A 9.4 Test data Operating mode : Transmit mode Test Result : Pass 9.4.1 Measurement Result for 802.11b 9.4.1.1 Measurement Results for Restricted Band Frequency Rβ¦
