In order to meet Section 15.203 Antenna Requirement this letter addresses the guidelines in KDB353028 D01 Antennas Part 15 Transmitters v01r01 Section A Part 2 Subpart (c) “Professional Installation” The section is copied below and each item addressed individually: c) Professional installation i) Professional installation must be justified in the filing, and grant condition must state “This device must be professionally installed.” This is written in the Limited Modular Application. ii) Professional installation does not permit use of any antenna with the transmitter; the permitted types of antenna must be specified.
