Fully integrated technology solution for workplace hygiene Higher cleaning standards Lower costs SEPTEMBER 2021 • Commercial cleaning is essential, but highly labour-intensive. Currently, to improve cleaning standards requires more cleaning hours, thereby increasing cleaning costs. Or put another way, to lower cleaning costs you must be prepared to accept lower hygiene standards. However, there are many inefficiencies in the current commercial cleaning processes. We assume three stakeholders within commercial cleaning: • Cleaning Teams • Facilities and Property Managers • Workplace Users Each group faces their own particular challenges. The underlying problem is the lack of relevant, accurate and real-time information, which affects all stakeholders. The Problem Cleaning Team • • Users > 53% of users say there is room for improvement in their workplace cleanliness (PEGO Market Research) £280 Average annual cleaning cost per employee in London offices (PEGO London City Case Study) £17,000 Annual average wage for cleaning operatives in the UK (Indeed.com January 2021) Poor workplace environment Lack of assurance on workplace hygiene Disenfranchised users mistreat facilities Lack of data on the status of facilities Difficulty in benchmarking cleaning services Constant need to balance quality and cost Essential workers Hard work often goes unrecognised Lack of incentives to be productive Managers PROBLEMBENEFITSSOLUTIONIMPLEMENTATIONCONCLUSION WORKPLACE HYGIENE MONITORING SYSTEMPAGE 2 THE SOLUTION PROBLEMBENEFITSSOLUTIONIMPLEMENTATIONCONCLUSION PEGO Hygiene Monitoring System WORKPLACE HYGIENE MONITORING SYSTEMPAGE 3 PROBLEMBENEFITSSOLUTIONIMPLEMENTATIONCONCLUSION We fit out Pods in key areas of your workplace Each Pod analyses the utilisation of the surrounding area, and its cleanliness and tidiness when the space is vacant. We provide real-time information on the status of facilities to each group of stakeholders. PEGO provides the necessary tools to improve efficiency across multiple aspects of commercial cleaning. It also houses the Machine Vision and Artificial Intelligence modules, which run the cleanliness and tidiness analyses, when the space is vacant. A Pod cannot carry out machine vision readings when a person is present, under any circumstance, including malfunctioning, power failure, or malicious attack. Powerful Artificial Intelligence software running locally on each Pod. . Ceiling mounted on a bracket, it is retrofittable with minimal work. Connected via Wifi, Ethernet, or 4G, with low band width requirements. Multiple human detection sensors, utilising complementary technologies. Remains operational even if temporarily offline. Physical shutter keeps machine vision components enclosed whenever there is a person in the vicinity. Dimensions: 12cm x 12cm x 5cm Can control external devices such as lights, and aroma dispensers. Evaluation Method Systems operating under the provisions of FCC 47 CFR section shall be operated in a manner that ensures that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy level in excess of the Commission’s guidelines. In accordance with 47 CFR FCC Part 2 Subpart J, section 2.1091 this device has been defined as mobile device whereby a distance of 0.2m normally can be maintained between the user and the device, and below RF Permissible Exposure limit shall comply with. In accordance with KDB447498D01 for Simultaneous transmission MPE test exclusion applies when the sum of the MPE ratios for all simultaneous transmitting antennas incorporated in a host device, based on the calculated/estimated, numerically modelled or measured field strengths or power density, is ≤ 1.0. The MPE ratio of each antenna is determined at the minimum test separation distance required by the operating configurations and exposure conditions of the host device, according to the ratio of field strengths or power density to MPE limit, at the test frequency. Either the maximum peak or spatially averaged results from measurements or numerical simulations may be used to determine the MPE ratios. Spatial averaging does not apply when MPE is estimated using simple calculations based on far-field plane-wave equivalent conditions. The antenna installation and operating requirements for the host device must meet the minimum test separation distances required by all antennas, in both standalone and simultaneous transmission operations, to satisfy compliance. 3.
