Users Manual

VERDINFULLFUNCTIONREMOTE MODEL#FFR-01 The buttons on the remote control offer easy execution of various library songs or stored shortcut function. xTo execute short-cut (1) thru (7) simply depress the desired shortcut number on the remote control number pad and then depress the Enter button (ENT). Button (8) executes the stop function. xThe Clear button (CLR) can be used to clear unwanted button entries. xTo play a library song simply enter its corresponding song number on the remote button panel then press the enter key (ENT). NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: * Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. * Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. * Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. * Consult The Verdin Company for help. Operation with non-approved equipment is likely to result in interference to radio and TV reception. SAR TEST EXCLUSION This device, FCC ID: 2AA3OFFR-01, is excluded from SAR testing by the following justification. The maximum power that the transmitter IC is capable of is 10 mW. By using the following formula from section 4.3.1 of KDB 447498: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)]*[√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR and using the minimum test separation distance of 5 mm, the resulting calculated SAR value is: (10 mW)/5 mm) * (√.418 GHz) = 1.3 This value is below the exclusion threshold for both the 1-g SAR and 10-g extremity SAR requirements.
