USER GUIDE Models: GDI-EGBP100-110 EcoPebble Open the CAP on the BACK of your ECOPEBBLE. Turn on the MAIN POWER SWITCH. Listen for announcement, “Power On” / “Power On, Pairing Ready” & look for the back panel LED to flash Blue. Search your Smart Device for a Bluetooth Connection and select ‘ECOXGEAR’. Listen for announcement, “Bluetooth Connected.” Select & Play your Music from your Smart Device. IMPORTANT HINTS • MAIN POWER SWITCH must be set to the ON position to operate your ECOPEBBLE. • When the Main Power Switch is set ON, use the STANDBY POWER BUTTON to turn unit ON/OFF. • PRESS & HOLD the STANDBY button for 3-5 seconds to power ON/OFF your ECOPEBBLE. • When not in use for extended periods, set the Main Power Switch to the OFF position. • Auto connect to your device by using the STANDBY button only to power ON/OFF, and do NOT turn OFF the Master Power Switch. When the Master Power Switch is turned OFF, the ECOPEBBLE resets and previous connections are deleted from the memory. When the Master Power Switch is turned ON, you must pair to your device again. QUICK START 4-STEPSCONTROL BUTTONS & OPERATIONS STANDBY ON/OFF PRESS & HOLD the STANDBY POWER button for 3-5 seconds to turn it ON/OFF. ECOPEBBLE remains in Standby Power mode when OFF. IMPORTANT: Standby Power function will NOT operate when the Main Power is set OFF. Main Power Switch on the back panel must be set ON for Standby to operate. PLAY / PAUSE ANSWER PRESS ONCE to pause & play song tracks and to answer incoming mobile calls. 1 2 3 4 TRACK SELECTION/ SPEAKER VOLUME PRESS ONCE for previous track selection. PRESS & HOLD to decrease the volume. TRACK SELECTION/ SPEAKER VOLUME PRESS ONCE to advance the track selection. PRESS & HOLD to increase the volume. NOTE: Some Bluetooth devices must be manually set at maximum audio level. Your ECOPEBBLE will beep to indicate when maximum volume setting is reached. Fully charge your ECOPEBBLE BEFORE you power ON for best performance. Connect the USB INPUT to the USB micro cable and a power source to charge your ECOPEBBLE. When charged, set the Main Power Switch to ON. Press the Standby Power Button to power on the ECOPEBBLE from standby mode and to return to standby mode. RECOMMENDATION: Use the accessories included with the ECOPEBBLE for optimal performance. • POWER FEATURE: STANDBY Power will NOT operate when the Main Power Switch is set OFF. Once the Main Power Switch is set to ON, use the Standby Button to turn the unit ON/OFF. • When not in use for extended periods, turn the Master Power OFF to preserve battery life. Power, Connections & INDICATORSBluetooth Pairing & Audio CONNECTING WITH BLUETOOTH: CONNECT TO YOUR SMART DEVICE & PLAY AUDIO Power ON / Bluetooth Paired Charging* *when connected with USB cable Full Charge* Bluetooth Pairing Ready / Power ON When your ECOPEBBLE is turned ON, the LED light on the back panel will flash BLUE, indicating the unit is powered ON and ready to pair. The unit shall also announce “Power ON” or “Power ON, Pairing Ready” when powered ON. Turn on your Smartphone’s Bluetooth. Set the Smartphone to pairing mode. Available Bluetooth connections shall appear. Select ‘ECOXGEAR’ from the list of discovered devices on your Smartphone. Wait a few seconds until the connection is completed. When the ECOXGEAR selection is made and the Bluetooth connection is complete, your ECOPEBBLE announces, “Bluetooth connected.” Once connected, select and play your desired audio. Your ECOPEBBLE should sync & wirelessly pair with most Bluetooth enabled devices. The unit remembers the last device paired and will automatically search for previous connections when the speaker is turned ON from Standby or when a device comes back into Bluetooth range. If a connection is dropped, the speaker will look to re-establish that connection. If Bluetooth is turned OFF on your Smartphone, the ECOPEBBLE may not automatically look for the device. PAIRING MODE When paired, if you wish to put your ECOPEBBLE in pairing mode you can turn off Bluetooth on the Smartphone connected to the device or turn the Main Power Switch OFF/ON. Your ECOPEBBLE should announce, “Power ON, Pairing ready” when main power is turned back ON and the device is ready to pair to a Bluetooth connection. RECOMMENDATION: If you are not familiar with Bluetooth pairing for your Smartphone or other Smart-Device, refer to the User Guide for your Smartphone to learn how to add and pair a new device (ECOPEBBLE for instance) to your Smartphone using Bluetooth. BLUETOOTH PAIRING & CONNECTIONS Once paired, should you have an issue switching between Bluetooth connections between devices, open the Bluetooth Section within the device currently connected to the ECOPEBBLE and delete the Bluetooth connection. The ECOPEBBLE will then be available to pair & connect to an alternate Bluetooth enabled Smartphone / Audio Device. In order to properly close the cap, be sure the cap fits flat and flush along the edges with the back panel. IF not properly closed the unit is NOT watertight and may not float.
