Alpha Design and Products’ H.D. sound quality FM transmitter device is designed to empower music lovers to connect any of their media streaming devices to the car radio system and enjoy listening to their favorite tunes without the hassle of interference, crosstalk, or noise stemming from other FM radio channels and external sources. SETUP INSTRUCTION ADnP’s high performance FM transmitter device is designed to operate at 100.1 MHZ radio FM band. It does not have an On / Off switch. The module will turn on and starts audio signal transmission when its USB power cable is connected to power via a USB car charger as shown in figure 1. The recommended steps to properly operate this module are listed below: 1. Connect the USB power cable via a USB car charger to the cigarette lighter power source. 2 3. Set the FM radio channel to 100.1 MHZ. 4. Start enjoying your favorite music. . Connect you music / Mp3 player to the 3.5 mm audio cable SETUP INSTRUCTION (Continued) Figure 1. SUPERIOR QUALITY, HIGH PERFORMANCE, & RELIABLE BUILT IN USA AUDIO SETUP Connect the 3.5 mm audio cable to the analog I/O port of your media streaming device. To get the best audio performance and preventing audio dynamic range distortion, set the volume of your music player to approximately 80% of its maximum range. See figure 2. From this starting point, you can increase or decrease the volume appropriately. Figure 2. POWER CONNECTION SETUP This high performance FM transmitter module requires a DC voltage source ranging from 5V to 12V. We highly recommend users NOT to exceed the above input voltage to avoid permanent damage to their product. FCC STATEMENT This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This device generates, uses, and radiates radio frequency energy and if not used in accordance with the instructions expressly approved by the manufacturer and the party responsible for compliance, the product’s warranty and User’s authority to operate the product is voided. Alpha Design and Products, Inc. model # ADnP2014 FCC ID: 2ABHJ-ADNP2014 LIMITED 1 YEAR WARRANTY Alpha Design and Products, Inc (ADnP) warrants the included hardware against defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of original retail purchase. ADnP does not warrant against normal wear and tear, nor damage caused by accident or abuse. If a defect is discovered, ADnP will, at its option, repair or replace the product at no charge provided it is returned during the warranty period, with transportation prepaid, to the authorized dealer from whom you purchased the product. Proof of purchase will be required. This warranty does not apply if this product has been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication, or tampered with in any way, shape, or form; if the product has been modified without written permission of ADnP; or if any ADnP serial number has been removed or defaced. THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESSED, OR IMPLIED.
