HOW TO WEAR 3.1 LEFT OR RIGHT WEARING STYLE The VT B320 BT can be worn on the right or left which you want. 6 3.2 ADJUST THE HEADBAND Adjust the headband to find the most comfortable fit. 3.3 POSITION THE MICROPHONE It is recommended to position the microphone close to your mouth. 7 3.4 STORING THE MICROPHONE Discreet boom arm can be neatly folded away into the headband when not on a call. 8 4.1 CHARGE THE HEADSET 4.2 SUPPORT WIRELESS CHARGING FOR MOBILE PHONE 4. BASE CHARGING Base connects Power Adapter by USB cable, and put the mobile phone on the Base, then the charging indicator green light on. Charging indicator Option 1: The headset battery will be charged when connected to a PC using a USB cable, or when using any USB charger supplied with your mobile device. Option 2: If you have a charging base, you could plug the charging base into a powered USB port and then dock the headset. - Busylight indicator will turn red during charging, and it will turn green when headset is fully charged. - It takes approx.3 hours to fully charge the battery. 1. Ensure the headset is switched on. 2. Plug the BT 100U dongle into a USB port on your PC. The headset and BT 100U are already pre-connected. 5. HOW TO CONNECT 5.1 CONNECT TO PC (USING BT 100U) 5.2 CONNECT TO MOBILE DEVICE (USING BLUETOOTH) 9 1. Wear the headset. 2. Hold (2 secs) the On/off/connect switch in the connect position until you hear the voice guided instructions. The Bluetooth indicator will turn blue. 3. Follow the voice guided instructions to connect. 6. RF EXPOSURE EVALUATION 5.1 Applicable Standard According to§15.247(i) and §1.1310, systems operating under the provisions of this section shall be operated in a manner that ensure that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy level in excess of the Commission’s guideline. According to KDB447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06: The 1-g and 10-g SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤ 50 mm are determined by: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] · [√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR, where • f(GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz • Power and distance are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation • The result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison • 3.0 and 7.5 are referred to as the numeric thresholds in the step 2 below The test exclusions are applicable only when the minimum test separation distance is ≤ 50 mm and for transmission frequencies between 100 MHz and 6 GHz. When the minimum test separation distance is < 5 mm, a distance of 5 mm according to 5) in section 4.1 is applied to determine SAR test exclusion. 5.2 Measurement Result The max conducted power including tune-up tolerance is 6 dBm (3.98 mW). [(max. power of channel, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)][√f(GHz)] =3.98/5*(√2.480) = 1.3 < 3.0 Result: Compliant. The stand-alone SAR evaluation is not necessary.
