Users Manual

If you want to import the PPPoE user name and password from your original router, start from Step 1. Otherwise, start from Step 2. I. Connect your router Method 1: Connect your WiFi-enabled device (such as a smart phone) to the new router’s WiFi network using the SSID labeled on the bottom of the router. II. Connect your devices to the new router Start a web browser on the device connected to the router. Enter www.tclwifi.net or 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, and press Enter. Enter the login password, and click Login. The default login information can be found on the Button Label of the router. Click Start. III. Set up the new router for internet accessLED indicators Jack, ports and buttons Original router Power Step 1: Import your PPPoE user name and password from your original router. Power on your original and new routers. Connect the WAN port of the original router to the LAN port (port 1, 2 or IPTV/3) of the new router using an Ethernet cable. After the LED indicator of the new router blinks fast for 8 seconds, the PPPoE user name and password are imported to your new router successfully. Remove the original router. Step 2: Connect your new router to the internet. Power on the new router. Connect the WAN port of the new router to the LAN port of your modem or the Ethernet jack using an Ethernet cable. The LED indicator blinks fast for 3 seconds. Tips If you cannot log in to the web UI of the router, refer to Q1 in FAQ. Safety and use We recommend that you read this chapter carefully before using your device. The manufacturer disclaims any liability for damage, which may result as a consequence of improper use or use contrary to the instructions contained herein. • CONDITIONS OF USE: Switch the device off before boarding an aircraft.
