ThemeasurementantennamayhavetobehigherorlowerthantheEUT,dependingontheradiation patternoftheemissionandstayingaimedattheemissionsourceforreceivingthemaximumsignal.The finalmeasurementantennaelevationshallbethatwhichmaximizestheemissions.Themeasurement antennaelevationformaximumemissionsshallberestrictedtoarangeofheightsoffrom1mto4m abovethegroundorreferencegroundplane. 7.Whentheradiatedemissionslimitsareexpressedintermsoftheaveragevalueoftheemissions,and pulsedoperationisemployed,themeasurementfieldstrengthshallbedeterminedbyaveragingoverone completepulsetrain,includingblankingintervals,aslongasthepulsetraindoesnotexceed0.1seconds. Asanalternative(providedthetransmitteroperatesforlongerthan0.1seconds)orincaseswherethe pulsetrainexceeds0.1seconds,themeasuredfieldstrengthshallbedeterminedfromtheaverage ReportNo.:AGC08189260304FR01 Page54of76 absolutevoltageduringa0.1secondintervalduringwhichthefieldstrengthisatitsmaximumvalues. 8.IftheemissionsleveloftheEUTinpeakmodewas3dBlowerthantheaveragelimitspecified,then testingwillbestoppedandpeakvaluesofEUTwillbereported,otherwise,theemissionswhichdonot have3dBmarginwillberepeatedonebyoneusingthequasi-peakmethodforbelow1GHz. 9.Fortestingabove1GHz,theemissionsleveloftheEUTinpeakmodewaslowerthanaveragelimit(that meanstheemissionslevelinpeakmodealsocomplieswiththelimitinaveragemode),thentestingwillbe stoppedandpeakvaluesofEUTwillbereported,otherwise,theemissionswillbemeasuredinaverage modeagainandreported. 10.Incasetheemissionislowerthan30MHz,loopantennahastobeusedformeasurementandtherecorded datashouldbeQPmeasuredbyreceiver.High-Lowscanisnotrequiredinthiscase.
