Remote Control Bark Stopper Effective Bark Control with Remote Control and Night Light For Battery Operation open back cover and install four 9 volt batteries. BE SURE to align the + terminal on the batteries with the + terminal markings in the case. Battery damage will result if not installed properly. For continuous powered operation plug the supplied 9VDC 0.35ADC power supply into bottom jack. For wide area detection use without megaphone. For narrow area detection attach the provided megaphone by inserting and rotating slightly until it latches in place. Suggested normal mounting is 2 to 5 feet above the ground. For detecting a barking dog over a fence mount Bark Stopper as high as necessary to “look” over the fence. The megaphone is often used in this case. The built in Night Light can be manually turned ON or OFF, or it can be configured to turn on automatically when ambient light is low. Plug in 9VDC Power Supply for Continuous Operation If using batteries, when the RED light begins blinking rapidly, indicating low charge, change all four of the batteries. Access the configuration panel by removing the front screw and cover. When finished configuring replace cover and tighten screw to maintain the water tight seal. Normally select AUDIBLE BLAST for best results. If sound is objectionable to humans, try ULTRASONIC BLAST. Ultrasonic is usually not heard by humans. The Dog Stop Ultra will not send a BLAST of energy until it detects a particular number of barks in a row. You can adjust how may barks are required to trigger, or you can turn off the bark detection completely. The remote control will still generate a BLAST. For detecting a bark at a long distance, set the SENSITIVITY adjustment more Right (quiet). REMOTE MANUAL OUTLINE YD-5010 Remote has 3 buttons(ON/ OFF/TEST) and is operated by Alkaline battery 12v 23A. Remote frequency is 433.92 MHZ and this remote is used to operate YD-5000 Bark Stopper repeller unit. Remote Modulation method:ASK OPERATION To link your YD-5000 Bark Stopper to a YD-5010 REMOTE control dongle, press the CODE button while simultaneously pressing the REMOTE control ON button for 1 seconds. The remote turns ON or OFF the bark detection circuit. The TEST button simulates a barking dog and issues a BLAST. 1. “ON” Button Hold “ON” button for 1seconds to turn on YD-5000 main unit. 2. “OFF” Button Hold “ OFF” button for 1 seconds to turn off YD-5000 main unit 3. “ TEST” Button Hold “ TEST” button for 1 seconds to instruct YD-5000 main unit entering test mode and then go to normal mode. operating temperature:-10 to +40°C NOTE: THE GRANTEE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS NOT EXPRESSLY APPROVED BY THE PARTY RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLIANCE.
