NFC READER INSTALLATION GUIDE The NFC reader is used with the CSMIII box to have a proximity interface to book/checkout the car and to manage the lock/unlock. SPECIFICATIONS This box contains the following items: 1 NFC Reader 1 Installation guide 2 stickers Operating Voltage Consumption in sleep mode Peak current Dimensions Weight 12Vcc <3mA <200mA 65x55x11mm 51g CONTENT OF THE BOX 1. Remove cover from the A- 2. Glue the sticker on the windscreen (possible precutting may be necessary) 3. Glue the NFC reader on sticker centered on the LED opening 4. Hide the cable behind and close again the A-pillar cover Double site Rubber gluing strips INSTALLATION STEPS • Install the NFC reader on the windscreen • Plug the external cable on the CSM connector 1. If the car is available, the top led blinks green slowly. 2. Place the tag close to the NFC reader to book the car (around 2cm) during 1 second. The top led starts to blink red/green fast. The door are unlocked and the bottom is green to inform you can start the car. 3. If the car is booked, the NFC reader led blinks in orange. 4. To open the car, place again the tag close to the NFC reader during 1 second. The door are now opened. The top led turns off and the bottom led is green to inform you can start the car. 5. To close the door, place the tag close to the NFC reader. The top led starts to blink in orange and the bottom led turns off. 6. To checkout, place the tag close to the NFC reader during 5 seconds. The top led blinks red and green then 6 times fast green and starts to blink green slowly. The car is now closed.
