Useful tips ... The detector should be placed in an area protected from wind and moisture. Also, position the detector in a clear path to the receiver, so that you get optimal performance. Care & Maintenance Important: The detector & receiver should be positioned in sheltered places to avoid contact with water and direct sunlight. If the LED indicator does not go on, the battery power is either low or dead. At that time you should change the.batteries. Clean the detector regularly with a damp cloth to avoid blockage of sensor by dirt or any small particles. This unit is not waterproof, during heavy s torms & snowfalls, it is recommended that the unit be moved indoors or in a safe place out of the elements.
