Bowman Drive Buford, GA 30518 USA Voice: 770-831-8048 Fax: 770-831-8598 Certification Exhibit FCC ID: 2AFJSSET100-2015 FCC Rule Part: 15.249 ACS Project Number: 14-0039 Manufacturer: Smart Earth Technologies LLC Model: SET 100 Smart Valve OBTAIN MASTER CONTROL PASSWORD 2 In order to provision or control your valve, you must obtain the Master Password from your Administrator. ARRIVE AT THE SERVICE LOCATION 5 Arrive at the service location where the valve will be installed and place the valve as near to the physical location the valve will be installed before proceeding. This will help to ensure that there is a good network connection at the actual service location before plumbing the valve. TURN ON HANDHELD BLUETOOTH 4 On your handheld (iPhone, iPod, etc..), please make sure that Bluetooth is ON within your handheld settings. Go to SETTINGS then tap on Bluetooth and toggle the switch to ON. LOGIN TO SETFLOW MOBILE & TURN ON LOCATION SERVICES 7 TAP the SETflow Mobile App icon on your home screen. Press YES to turn on LOCATION SERVICES or you will be unable to provision the valve. LOGIN with the credentials provided by your administrator. The app will immediately scan for all valves within range. NOTE: All of our valves are discoverable when they ship, it will help if there are no other valves within range. when provisioning your valve. FIND & CONNECT TO THE VALVE 8 In order to provision the correct valve in the list, please match the Serial Number located on the side of the valve to the Serial Number listed for your valve in the Valve List. Once you’ve identified the correct valve, TAP on the valve in the list in order to connect. OBTAIN A USER ACCOUNT LOGIN 1 Make sure you have a SETflow User Account and the login information before leaving to install your SET100 valve. Your administrator must create this for you. This login will be needed to access your SET100 thru the SETflow Mobile App on your handheld for provisioning. DOWNLOAD SETFLOW MOBILE APP 3 The SETflow Mobile app will be used to provision your valve. You are required to download our app from the Apple App Store using your organization’s APPLE ID. Using your handheld device (iPhone, iPod, etc..) you can either go to the APPLE APP STORE and search for SETFLOW and install the app OR using your web browser, go to www.setflow.com and click the “GET SETFLOW MOBILE” link at the bottom of the screen which will open the APP STORE where you can install the app. ow VALVE CONTROL ™ SMART EARTH TECHNOLOGIES QUICK SETUP GUIDE For Additional Support: 877.515.SMART (7627) Press 2 877.515.SMART (7627) www.smartearthtechnologies.com BEFORE GOING TO INSTALL...AT THE SERVICE LOCATION... SET100 - ITRON 100w+ CONNECT CABLE TO THE ITRON 100w+ 6 Now connect the gray serial interface cable from the valve to the middle blue port on the Itron 100w+ radio. INSTALL THE VALVE 12 You can now plumb the valve. 14CONNECT TO WIFI TO COMPLETE In order to complete the provisioning process, please make sure you connect to either a wifi or cellular data network and login to the app. This will upload the required valve information to SETflow automatically and the process will be complete. CHANGE INTERFACE 10 The “Interface” button determines how you will control your valve. By default it is set to SET Bluetooth for provisioning. TAP on INTERFACE then TAP the “Itron” button to switch to the Itron Interface. The app will attempt to connect to the Itron radio. If the valve can connect, the app will tell you that you are connected and you can proceed. If the app tells you that it is unable to connect, try again, if the result is the same, please call SETflow Support before you proceed. SET PREMISE ID (if applicable) 11 If your organization uses Premise IDs, they must be import- ed into SETflow Enterprise by your Administrator prior to assigning to the valve. To assign a Premise ID, TAP on PREMISE and enter the Premise ID for the Service Location to link the Premise ID to the valve. TEST VALVE ROTATION 9 TAP on the POSITION button and CLOSE the valve to verify that the valve is working correctly. Complete testing by turning the Valve to the desired installation position. If the valve does not turn, please try again. If it still does not turn make sure the Serial Number in the mobile app match- es the serial number on the valve. If Serial Numbers match and the valve does not turn, please contact SETflow Support before moving forward with provisioning. TAKE A PICTURE & ENTER NOTES 13 In order for this valve to be geo-located on our SETflow Enterprise App MAPS screen please TAP on PICTURE to take a picture of the installation location. This will give other technicians an idea of the installation location should a problem arise. You can take multiple pictures. You can TAP on the Notes icon to add any relevant notes about the installation for future reference. Warning: Changes or modifications to this device not expressly approved by Smart Earth Technologies LLC (SET) could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limitsare designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful inerference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
