Figure 4: Charging XipPOS Pull out the anti-dust plastic cap on the side to expose the battery charger connector port. 2. Connect the bigger end of the Micro-USB cable to the USB power adaptor. 3. Connect the smaller end of the Micro-USB cable to the battery charger connector port on your XipPOS. 5. When the battery is fully charged, disconnect the charger from XipPOS. 6. Push the anti-dust plastic cap back to close the battery charger connector port. NOTE: You can charge the battery as and when required depending on your usage. NOTE: XipPOS works with personalized SIM cards only. Using non-personalized SIM cards will result in errors. Pull out the anti-dust plastic cap on the side to expose the SIM card slot. 3. Push the anti-dust plastic cap back to close the SIM card slot. Insert your mobile-money enabled SIM card in the SIM card slot. The four buttons on either side of the display screen. Press each button to select the corresponding menu item on the display screen. On some screens, you can use the ATM style shortcut keys to do the follo wing: CANCEL: Aborts the current operation and returns to the home screen. BACK: Returns to the immediat e p revious ste p OK and NEXT: Confirms the action and proceeds to the next step. HOME: Returns to the home screen. The TFT LCD screen displays icons, menu options, tickers, and alphanumeric text. Switches the device on or off. It also selects a particular menu option to dipla y the subsequent screen. Long press to power the device on or off. Short press to select an icon or a menu item. The arrow buttons allow you to navigate through the display screen. Press up, down, left or r ight to scroll through a menu listing. Use the OK button in the centre to select an item. LED that flashes red/green whenever a transaction takes place or when the battery reaches the min im um level This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Body worn operation The device complies with RF specifications when used near your ear or at a distance of 1.0 cm from your body. Ensure that the device accessories, such as a device case and device holster, are not composed of metal components. Keep the device away from your body to meet the distance requirement. Certification information (SAR) This device is also designed to meet the requirements for exposure to radio waves established by the Federal Communications Commission (USA). The SAR limit adopted by the USA is 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue. The highest SAR value reported to the FCC for this device type complies with this limit. The highest SAR value reported to the FCC for this device type properly worn on the body is 0.772W/kg.
