S m art S wi tc h Us er M an ual Introduction: Thank you for purchasing an igh control device. igh system is designed to automate home control and provide easy remote operation of all your electrical appliances/lights connected to system. igh products include a variety of devices to control your home. It can be installed in one room, expand to additional rooms or to the entire house according to your needs and budgets. Green Point products are constructed with careful attention to detail, using only h igh quality materials, assuring peak performance over time. Warning!!! Controlling Appliances: igh systems can control electrical appliances either remotely or automatically, allowing electrical appliances or light to be activated without the operator presence in the room. Extreme cautions must be taken to avoid hazard conditions. Important Read before installing 1. Install in accordance with all national and local electrical codes and local regulations of your country. 2. At the end of a successful installation, the igh switch will function as a standard wall switch enabling the use of only the ON/OFF buttons (without Dim). Only after the activation of the igh switch, it will acquire additional functionalities. 3. The products of the igh system range are designed to be used and installed in domestic and similar environments where there is no need for special protections against the ingress of water. 4. The igh switch requires a neutral wire for operation. 5. It is recommended to use a non-metallic wall plate with the igh switch. 6. The installer must hand the user manual over to the user and should stress that the user become fully familiar with it. 7. The installer must perform the wiring operation with extreme care so as to avoid the risk of damaging the products in case of inversion and/or wire exchange. 8. In case of a breakdown or malfunction, please contact an authorized technician or the Green Point help desk. 9. There are no serviceable parts in this unit. 10. Do not paint on the igh switch. 11. Operate between temperatures of 14 °F and 122 °F. 12. The igh switch may feel warm to the touch during normal operation. 13. Shut OFF power through the main circuit breaker when connecting or disconnecting lights or appliances. 14. Clean the igh switches only with a soft dry cloth. Do not use any chemical cleaners. General Product Description System overview igh is a home automation and power management system, enabling unified and automated control over electrical appliances connected to the system. The system is composed of 5 main components: igh Smart Switch igh Sensor igh Keypad igh IR Bridge igh Internet Gateway System Connectivity Functions Key features: Automated functionalities Integrated scheduler (up to 16 schedulers) Remote control via other igh products Manual control with the front touch panel LED indicators Operating Modes There are 3 operating modes, Automatic, Eco and Manual, that can be toggled manually, remotely or in accordance with 16 preconfigured schedulers, allowing maximum adaptation to the user’s lifestyle. Automatic Mode The lights/appliances are controlled automatically using sensor information such as motion detection, light intensity, temperature and synchronize clock. Eco Mode The lights/appliances turn OFF automatically in accordance with your preferences and sensor information. Manual Mode Switching ON/OFF of the lights/appliance is managed manually, without automation. Internal Capabilities RF transceiver capabilities: The internal transceiver works on ISM Band (433.040 - 434.400 MHz). The transceiver communication range is up to 10 m depending on the number of walls in the way. Real time power consumption metering: The measurement of the power consumption is done via DSP - Digital Signal Processing. Decision making capabilities The igh switch is equipped with igh smart home automation software, you can configure the switch and adjust it to your lifestyle. In addition, It has self-learning capabilities that will adjust itself automatically to your lifestyle. Switch Power Specification Dimmer Switch – IGHH: 120V – 60Hz 250W/250VA Maximum power per gauge 300W The Dimmer Smart Switch is designed only for use with permanently installed lighting fixtures. Do not use it to control motorized appliances or receptacles. It can be used as dimmer for any approved dimmable lights or as a regular switch for non- dimmable light. Shutter Switch – IGTH: 120V – 60Hz 250VA The Shutter Smart Switch is designed for use only with AC powered shutters and blinds. Power Switch – IGPH: 120V – 60Hz 10A The Power Smart Switch is designed for any AC powered light/appliance. Sense Switch – IGSH: 120V – 60Hz 10A The Sense Smart Switch is designed for any AC powered light/appliance. Installation Instructions SHOCK HAZARD! Turn OFF the power to the branch circuit at the circuit breaker in your electrical service panel. Ensure power is OFF before you install this device. All wiring connections must be made with the POWER OFF to avoid personal injury and/or damage to the switch. Assembly instructions 1. Cut OFF the power to the circuit at the fuse box or circuit breaker. 2. Remove wall plate**. Warning: Verify that the power is OFF in the switch box before continuing. 3. Carefully remove the switch from the switch box. DO NOT disconnect the wires. 4. Disconnect the wires from the existing switch and insert them to the igh switch according to Diagram 1 (add a neutral wire if needed). 5. Insert the igh Switch into the switch box, being careful not to pinch or crush wires. 6. Mount the wall plate. 7. Turn ON the power to the circuit in the fuse box or circuit breaker and test the system. **This switch may be used in new installations or to replace an existing wall switch. A wall plate is not included. If this is a new installation or you are replacing a switch which is not compatible with the igh switch, we recommend that you purchase a common standard wall plate.
