This user guide completes the ANAFI UKR documentation, which also includes the: - Skycontroller UKR & FreeFlight 8 user guide. - ANAFI UKR Flight Safety Guide – available upon request. - ANAFI UKR release notes – available upon request. Read the Flight Safety Guide to have complementary information about safety, operational limitations for use and maintenance of the ecosystem. Always verify that you are using the latest version of the user guide. This guide is specific to a single drone configuration, consisting of: - The Parrot ANAFI UKR drone. - The Parrot Skycontroller UKR. - The FreeFlight 8 flight application. NOTE: ANAFI UKR requires the FreeFlight 8 app to fly, and to ensure that the drone and controller are fully up to date with the latest features. Read entirely at least once. Taking into account its altitude and its distance from its take-off point, the drone computes in real time the energy it requires to return to its home point. When its battery reaches a critical level, or in case of data link loss, FreeFlight 8 informs you that the drone is about to enter automatic RTH (Return to Home) mode. WARNING: The pilot is responsible for the drone during an RTH maneuver. The pilot must remain ready to regain control of the drone in the event of a hazardous situation. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Refer to the enclosed Quick Start Guide and to the instructions given by FreeFlight 8 when the app runs for the first time. For additional information, refer to the user guide available upon request from Parrot or your Parrot reseller. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE ANAFI UKR l The pilot must ensure that the entire ecosystem (ANAFI UKR, Skycontroller UKR, and FreeFlight 8) has the most up-to-date firmware. Seek assistance from Parrot/your Parrot reseller in case of any warning messages. ANAFI UKR Gimbal l Pay attention when placing ANAFI UKR back in its case. l Always store the drone with its main camera gimbal covered by the gimbal protection before transport. l Always transport ANAFI UKR safely stored in its case. 9 Propellers WARNING LACERATION HAZARD Propellers can cause deep cuts. Using the drone requires particular attention from the operator and observers. l ANAFI UKR’s propellers can cause damage to persons or objects. Do not touch ANAFI UKR when in flight. Wait until the propellers stop completely before handling ANAFI UKR. l Do not use damaged or broken propellers. BATTERY FOR ANAFI UKR AND THE SKYCONTROLLER UKR WARNING FIRE HAZARD Failure to follow all the instructions may result in serious injury, property damage and irreparable damage to the battery, ANAFI UKR, the Skycontroller UKR, and may cause a fire, smoke, or explosion. l Always check that the battery is not damaged before charging, or using it in flight. l Never use a battery which has been dropped. l Never use the battery when the battery or the product containing the battery has sustained an impact or was involved in a crash. l Never use a damaged battery, or if there is an odor, overheating, discoloration, deformation, or leakage. l Never place heavy objects on the battery. l ANAFI UKR and Skycontroller UKR must only be charged using the USB cable included with the device, and with a compatible USB charger or USB port that meets the following requirements: USB-IF Battery 10 Charging Spec, Rev 1.2. l Never trickle charge or charge under 3 V per cell. l The temperature of the battery mu…
