By default, Creative BT-W6 will automatically pair via Classic Bluetooth. Both aptX Adaptive codec preference and Bluetooth mode selections can be made through Creative BT-W6 and can also be selected via the Creative app, downloadable on creative.com/support. Codec Selection on the Creative App Creative app will automatically detect Creative BT-W6 when connected to the PC. Click on the Bluetooth Devices module to access its settings. If the connected audio device supports aptX Adaptive, the option to select [Low Latency] or [High Quality / aptX Lossless] will appear. Note: Set playback resolution to 16-bit / 24-bit 44.1 kHz / 48.0 kHz to stream with aptX Lossless codec. Classic Bluetooth MASTER RESET The LED indicator will flash red to indicate its progress. Note: When there are 4 devices already paired to Creative BT-W6, a newly paired device will replace the least used device. For example, if the third device is the least used device and you would like to pair a fifth device to Creative BT-W6, the newly paired device will replace third device’s placement. Unicast Mode Unicast lets the user wirelessly connect to a compatible device supporting LE Audio to enjoy high-definition audio streaming. GMAP OnGMAP Off UnicastBroadcast Classic Bluetooth LE Audio Priority List BROADCAST MODE Broadcast Mode: Public (Unencrypted)Broadcast Mode: Private (Encrypted) The LED indicator will flash white to indicate that it is broadcasting. Note that the broadcast stream is unencrypted and any supported device can join the stream if it is within range. Set up private broadcast streams via the Creative app. Private broadcast streams require a password to join.
