Light Sensor You will need: • A smartphone or tablet using Bluetooth 4.2 or later. • The latest version of our app, downloadable via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. • A SwitchBot account, you can register via our or sign in to your account directly if you already have one. iOS 14.0+Android OS 5.0+ Press and hold the ON button on your device for 2 seconds to power on. Step 1: Power on Controlling devices or triggering Scenes Open our app, tap "+" at the top right-hand corner of the home page, select Add Device, find the relevant device icon and select. Then follow the instructions to add your device. Step 2: Add your device to the SwitchBot app Follow the in-app prompts to add a remote control of your appliance. If you have a SwitchBot Hub device under your account and have already added some remote controls, you can copy all of them to your URC directly. If you are using our product for the first time, you can search for the appliance brand and model to find the infrared code and download. Please note: The code library in the server may not be complete, and some button codes may be missing. We recommend purchasing a SwitchBot Hub device so that you can learn particular buttons. Step 3: Add remote controls of your appliances Enter the details page of your URC, follow the instructions to assign each virtual buttons to the physical buttons. Then, sync the data to the URC local. After you have added your remote controls and configured the URC physical buttons, press the red "Kata" button on your URC, then you can select among devices or Scenes to control. Calling out more buttons Custom buttons are special. You can freely edit their functions and logos. They can also accomodate a set of buttons, which can be called out with the single custom button. Each custom button can accomodate up to 20 button functions. That means an URC can have 80 additional functions when controlling a single device. You can categorize all the button functions you added and place them separately into the A, B, C, D custom buttons. Click one to call out one type of button list. Step 4: Customize the function of your device's physical buttons Device Settings Lift to Wake By simply picking up your URC, the screen will automatically light up for you to use. You can turn on or turn off this feature via our app. Auto Screen Off You can adjust the time for your device screen to automatically turn off via our app. Setting screen brightness Your URC is equipped with a light sensor and can automatically adjust screen brightness according to the ambient light. This ensures clear visibility during the day and prevents eye strain at night.
