Users Manual

BatteryandCharging Thisisa79channel2.4GHzradio,Theradioispoweredwithan18650battery.The radiocomeswiththebatteryinstalled;howeverifareinstallisneededmakesurethe negativesideisonthesidetouchingthespringoftheradio.Theradiocanbecharged withamicrousbcableattachedrightbelowthespeakerandpowerbutton. Operation Power Poweronandoffbyholdingthepowerbuttonfor2seconds.Whentheradioisturned on,thegreenlightisalwayson,indicatingthatthebatteryisfullycharged.Whenthe redlightison,thebatteryvoltageislowerthan3.5V.Whentheredlightflashesand thebuzzeralarmindicatesthatthevoltageislowerthan3.3V.Needtochargethe radioimmediately. Binding Theradiocomesalreadyboundtoeasypilotinthereadytoflykit.Ifbindingis necessaryfollowthesesteps: 1.Makesuretheeasypilotandradioarepoweredoff. 2.Pressandholdtheradiothrottletrimdownandpitchtrimdownbuttonsonthe radioandturneasypiloton.Whenthegreenlightflashesquicklythenrelease allbuttons. 3.Bringtheradioandtheeasypilotcloseandpowerontheeasypilotthenthe greenlightoftheradiowillsteadylight. 4.Powerofftheeasypilotandpoweronagain,thebindiscompleted. Trim Therearetrimbuttonsforeachaxisoneachgimbal.Eachtrimadjustmentwillbeep theradioandalongerbeepindicatethecentertrim.Adjustrollandpitchtrimwhen hoveringtoachieveastablehoverwithnogimbalinput. GimbalCalibration Theradiocomesalreadypre-calibrated;however,recalibratingcanhelptroubleshoot someproblems. 1.Makesuretheradioarepoweredoff. 2.Pressandholdtheyawtrimrightandtherolltrimleftbuttons.Thenpoweron theradio,whentheradioredlightflashesquicklythenreleaseallthe buttons.Donottouchanyoftheradioleversatthistime. 3.Aftertheredlightflashesquickly2S,theredlightchangestoaslowlyflashing state.Atthistime,manuallyshaketherockertothemaximumrange,andthen cycletwotimes. 4.Clickthepowerswitchbutton,thegreenlightisalwayson,andthegimbal calibrationiscompleted. FCCWarningStatement Changesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbythepartyresponsiblefor compliancecouldvoidtheuser’sauthoritytooperatetheequipment.This equipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassB digitaldevice,pursuanttoPart15oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesigned toprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceinaresidential installation.Thisequipmentgeneratesusesandcanradiateradiofrequency energyand,ifnotinstalledandusedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,may causeharmfulinterferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisno guaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallation.Ifthis equipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception, whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon,theuseris encouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormoreofthefollowing measures: ‐‐Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna. ‐‐Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver. ‐‐Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferentfromthattowhich thereceiverisconnected. ‐‐Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianforhelp.
