It supports a Bluetooth Low Energy and compliant system for audio and data communication. FSC-BT1036C integrates an ultra-low-power DSP and application processor with embedded flash memory, a high-performance stereo codec, a power management subsystem, I 2 S, LED drivers and ADC I/O in a SOC IC. By default, FSC-BT1036C module is equipped with powerful and easy-to-use Feasycom firmware. It’s easy to use and completely encapsulated. Feasycom firmware enables users to access Bluetooth functionality with simple ASCII commands delivered to the module over serial interface - it's just like a Bluetooth modem. Therefore, FSC-BT1036C provides an ideal solution for developers who want to integrate Bluetooth wireless technology into their design. - 1 - FCC Warning Integration instructions for host product manufacturers according to KDB 996369 D03 OEM Manual v01 2.2 List of applicable FCC rules FCC Part 15.247 2.3 Specific operational use conditions This transmitter/module and its antenna(s) must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any transmitter. This information also extends to the host manufacturer’s instruction manual. 2.4 Limited module procedures Not applicable 2.5 Trace antenna designs It is “not applicable” as trace antenna which is not used on the module. 2.6 RF exposure considerations This equipment complies with FCC RF radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This compliance to FCC radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment, and minimum of 5mm separation between antenna and body. The host product manufacturer would provide the above information to end users in their end-product manuals. 2.7 Antennas PCB antenna; 2dBi; 2.402 GHz~2.480GHz 2.8 Label and compliance information The end product must carry a physical label or shall use e-labeling followed KDB784748D01 and KDB 784748 stating “Contains Transmitter Module FCC ID: 2AMWOFSC-BT1036C”. 2.9 Information on test modes and additional testing requirements For more information on testing, please contact the manufacturer. 2.10 Additional testing, Part 15 Subpart B disclaimer The modular transmitter is only FCC authorized for the specific rule parts (FCC Part 15.247) listed on the grant, and that the host product manufacturer is responsible for compliance to any other FCC rules that apply to the host not covered by the modular transmitter grant of certification. The final host product still requires Part 15 Subpart B compliance testing with the modular transmitter installed when contains digital circuity. - 2 - FCC Statements (OEM) Integrator has to assure compliance of the entire end-product incl. the integrated RF Module. For 15 B (§15.107 and if applicable §15.109) compliance, the host manufacturer is required to show compliance with 15 while the module is installed and operating. Furthermore the module should be transmitting and the evaluation should confirm that the module's intentional emissions (15C) are compliant (fundamental / out-of-band). Finally the integrator has to apply the appropriate equipment authorization (e.g. Verification) for the new host device per definition in §15.101. Integrator is reminded to assure that these installation instructions will not be made available to the end-user of the final host device. The final host device, into which this RF Module is integrated" has to be labeled with an auxiliary label stating the FCC ID of the RF Module, such as "Contains FCC ID: 2AMWOFSC-BT1036C ` "This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1)this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2)this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation." "Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment." The Integrator will be responsible to satisfy SAR/ RF Exposure requirements, when the module integrated into the host device. Module statement The single-modular transmitter is a self-contained, physically delineated, component for which compliance can be demonstrated independent of the host operating conditions, and which complies with all eight requirements of § 15.212(a)(1) as summarized below. 1) The radio elements have the radio frequency circuitry shielded. 2) The module has buffered modulation/data inputs to ensure that the device will complywith Part 15 requirements with any type of input signal. 3) The module contains power supply regulation on the module. 4) The module contains a permanently attached antenna. 5) The module demonstrates compliance in a stand-alone configuration. 6) The module is labeled with its permanently affixed FCC ID label. - 3 - 7) The module complies with all specific rules applicable to the transmitter, including all the conditions provided in the integration instructions by the grantee. 8) The module complies with RF exposure requirements. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. Shielding is provided by a metal cover over the circuitry. (ii) The modular transmitter must have buffered modulation/data inputs (if such inputs are provided. All modulation and data inputs are buffered by circuitry on the transmitter chip. (iii) The modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation. Power supply regulation is provided by circuitry on the transmitter chip. (iv) The modular transmitter must comply with the antenna and transmission system requirements of §§ 15.203, 15.204(b) and 15.204(c). The antenna is fixed. (v) The modular transmitter must be tested in a stand-alone configuration, i.e., the module must not be inside another device during testing for compliance with Part 15 parameters. Testing was performed in a stand-alone configuration as shown in the test setup photos. (vi) The modular transmitter must be equipped with either a permanently affixed label or must be capable of electronically displaying its FCC identification number. If the FCC ID is not visible when the module is installed inside another device, then the outside of the device into which the module is installed must also display a label referring to the enclosed module. PORTABLE DEVICE EVALUATION METHOD AND LIMIT Following FCC KDB 447498 D01 “General SAR test exclusion guidance” The corresponding SAR Exclusion Threshold condition, listed below: 1) The 1-g and 10-g SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤50 mm are determined by: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] [if(GHz)] s 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ñ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR, where  f(GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz.  Power and distance are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation.  The result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison The test exclusions are applicable only when the minimum test separation distance is ≤50 mm and for transmission frequencies between 100 MHz and 6 GHz. When the minimum test separation distance is < 5 mm, a distance of 5 mm is applied to determine SAR test exclusion. 2) At 100 MHz to 6 GHz and for test separation distances > 50 mm, the SAR test exclusion threshold is determined according to the following: a) [Threshold at 50 mm in step 1) + (test separation distance - 50mm) ( f(MHz)/150)] mW, at 100MHz to 1500 MHz; b) [Threshold at 50 mm in step 1) + (test separation distance - 50 mm)-10] mW at > 1500 MHz and ≤6 GHz; 3) At frequencies below 100 MHz, the following may be considered for SAR test exclusion. a) The threshold at the corresponding test separation distance at 100 MHz in step 2) is multiplied by [1 + log(100/f(MHz))] for test separation distances > 50 mm and < 200 mm. b) The threshold determined by the equation in a) for 50 mm and 100 MHz is multiplied by 1/2 for test separation distances ñ 50 mm. c) SAR measurement procedures are not established below 100 MHz. When SAR test exclusion cannot be applied, a KDB inquiry is required to determine SAR evaluation requirements for any test results to be acceptable. 3. MOBILE DEVICE EVALUATION METHOD AND LIMIT Human exposure to RF emissions from mobile devices (47 CFR §2.1091) may be evaluated based on the MPE limits adopted by the FCC for electric and magnetic field strength and/or power density, as appropriate, since exposures are assumed to occur at distances of 20 cm or more from persons.
