Analysis Report Report No.: 20030538HKG-001 The Equipment Under Test (EUT) is an Ambassador Interpreter Earpiece which operates at frequency range of 2402MHz to 2480MHz. When the EUT pairs with a smartphone apps with Bluetooth feature, up to 4 users can use the language translation function on the smartphone apps. Only one person can wear one EUT at a time. The EUT is designed for the right ear where the users will hear the translation. The Bluetooth feature in the EUT is operating in the frequency range from 2402MHz to 2480MHz (79 channels 1MHz channel spacing). The applicant declared that Bluetooth BLE is not used. The EUT is powered by an internal 3.7V rechargeable battery. The USB port is for charging internal battery purpose only According to the KDB 447498: Conducted Power = EIRP – antenna gain = 5dBm - 0.5dBi = 4.5dBm = 2.82 mW The SAR Exclusion Threshold Level: = 3.0 * (min. test separation distance, mm) / sqrt(freq. in GHz) = 3.0 * 5 / sqrt (2.480) mW = 9.53 mW Since the above conducted output power is well below the SAR Exclusion threshold level, so the EUT is considered to comply with SAR requirement without testing.
