14 October 2022 To whom it may concern, The firmware for the FlexScan FS200 and TS100 written by AFL’s partner/contract manufacturer, Lifodas UAB, incorporates the Bluetooth driver/initialization software from the Bluetooth module manufacturer, Amp’ed RF. This software initializes the module and sets the RF output power parameters. When the proper RF output power level to meet SAR requirements was determined through testing by F2 Labs, Amp’ed included the power level setting in their software. The Amp’ed software is compiled into the FS200/TS100 firmware. This software cannot be modified by either AFL or Lifodas as it is proprietary to Amp’ed and neither AFL nor Lifodas have access to the source code. The Bluetooth module power settings cannot be changed either by FlexScan software updates or by the user as neither AFL nor the users have any access to the means of modifying output power settings. Regards, Dale Channing Eddy Engineering Technician III - Compliance AFL Test and Inspection (AFL Telecommunications LLC)
