The system utilizes 25KHz channel bandwidths, and transmits digital information, containing digital coded and encrypted voice and data. The system supports two modulation schemes with 16QAM and 8PSK. • The data rate is 80Kbps per 25KHz channel for 16QAM mode, giving a data rate of 20Kbps per 6.25KHz of channel bandwidth. • The data rate is 60Kbps per 25KHz channel for 8PSK mode, giving a data rate of 15Kbps per 6.25KHz of channel bandwidth. • The output power is less than 500 mW. ..............................................................
