KE2 Wireless Door Sensor Specification Sheet - S.5.6 Sep, 2025 Overview The KE2 Wireless Door Sensor allows local and remote monitoring of door openings and closings. Door open and door closed alarms notify users of excessively long openings or closings. The sensor is used with the KE2-Edge Manager Plus (KE2-EM Plus) and KE2-Edge Manager Cell (KE2-EM Cell) family of products. Features and Benefits • Easy to setup monitoring of door openings for walk-in coolers, freezers, reach-ins, under-counter units and more. • Adjustable alarm for door openings and door closings. Notification is available via email and push with the KE2-EM device and email/push/text (SMS) when published to the KE2 SmartAccess portal. • 2+ year battery life with easy to replace CR2032 battery. Adjustable low battery alert provides notification via the KE2-EM when it is time to replace. • Data log on the KE2-EM and the portal provides a timestamped record of door openings and closings, as well as any active alarms, battery level, and signal strength. • Local access available via the KE2-EM device, remote access, including the ability to adjust settings, available via the KE2 SmartAccess portal. • BACnet/IP communication is available via the KE2 Edge Manager with a BACnet license.
