Quick Install Guide 2020 WXL-P Series INSTALLER TEST CODE: CODE WILL STOP WORKING AFTER 10 USES. 18 gauge stranded - up to 25 feet. 16 gauge stranded - up to 50 feet. 12 gauge stranded - up to 60 feet. FCC Radiation Exposure Statement: This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This transmitter must not be co- located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance 20cm between the radiator and your body. CellGate Support: 972-231-1999 option 3 **Recommended wiring: 18/6 shielded for main device, and 18/4 shielded for optional wiegand devices** Items Included in Kit ❶ Watchman XL Unit ❷ 12 Volt DC Power Supply ❸ Magnetic Read Switch ❹ Keys (Note: Leave one key with the customer) ❺ Nuts X 4 ❻ Bolts X 4 ❼ Quick Install Guide ❽ Activation & Test Process ❾ Customer Information Packet Watchman XL Unit Power Supply Wiring Interface Circuit Board (Oriented the same as the Watchman install) Important Item WXL - Router Interface Circuit Board Ethernet Switch Interface Wiring Diagram (Oriented the same as the Watchman install) ❶Wire main power from the transformer to the power connector on the circuit board. ❷Connect gate trigger wires from the Normally Open (NO) and Common (C) to the free-exit or exit terminals on the gate operator. ❸Connect the gate status wires on the 6-pin connector on the main relay and input plug to the magnetic switch or a Dry Contact, Normally Closed (NC) relay on the gate operator. ❹If using an optional 26-bit reader (ex., keypad, card reader, RFID, or clicker), wire the device to the Wiegand connection on the interface circuit board. ❺Use Camera Guide if adding optional external camera. ❻Test/activate using the test credentials on the Activation & Test Process document. 6-Wire Installation Instructions Important Item ❶ ❷ ❹ ❸ WXL Installation Testing Enter the Testing Code, then tap the Enter Button. The Code will activate Relay 1 (the gate should open). Enter Button Locate a Callgroup and tap on it to call it. An automated message will play confirming the call was successful. WXL Enter a Code Home Call List Callgroup External Camera Installation. Customer Information Installation Complete • If you’re installing an External Camera, call CellGate Support for testing. • CellGate Support: (972) 231-1999 option 3. Leave the following items with the Customer: • Customer Information Packet • WXL - Key • Customer will setup Account with information in the Customer Packet.
