Connect the network and power as shown below: Note: The IP phone should only be used with a ZULTYS 5V DC power adapter. The use of a third-party power adapter may cause damage to the phone. If you are connecting a PC to the Network port of the phone, it is recommended that you use the Ethernet cable provided with the phone. If inline power (PoE) is provided, you do not need to connect a power adapter. Make sure the switch is PoE-compliant per the IEEE 802.3af standard. Power Adapter (DC 5V) The phone may be powered using the optional ZULTYS 5V DC power adapter or via Power over Ethernet (PoE). Your system administrator will advise which method to use. Connecting to a wireless network: To connect to a wireless network using the optional ZULTYS Wi-Fi Adapter, perform the following steps: 1. Connect the optional ZULTYS 5V DC power adapter and allow the phone to reach the idle screen. 2. Plug the ZULTYS Wi-Fi Adapter into the USB port on the rear of the phone. 3. When the phone displays โWLAN adapter is addedโ press OK to scan for available networks. 4. Scroll down to โAvailable networksโ and press Enter. 5. Select the network you wish to connect to then press the Link button. 6. Enter the password and press OK. A green tick icon indicates a successful connection. 5. Connecting a Bluetooth headset: To connect a compatible Bluetooth headset perform the following steps: 1. Select Menu > Basic > Bluetooth, set Bluetooth to Enabled and then press OK. 2. Place the Bluetooth headset into pairing mode then press Scan to locate the headset. 3. Select the headset from the list and then press Link to connect. Call Mute and Un-mute Call Hold and Resume To place a call on hold: To resume the call, do one of the following: Press to mute the microphone during a call. Press again to un-mute the call. If there is only one call on hold, press the Resume soft key. Press the Hold soft key during an active call. Press twice when the phone is idle to dial the last dialed number. Using the speakerphone: Using the headset: Press or press the -End Call key. Press the -End Call key. Redial Press to enter the Out Calls list, press or to select the desired entry, and then press or the Dial soft key. If there is more than one call on hold, press or to select the desired call, and then press the Resume soft key. 2. Press the Conf soft key during an active call. The call is placed on hold. Call Forward To enable call forward: Unconditional----Incoming calls are forwarded unconditionally. Busy Forward----Incoming calls are forwarded when the phone is busy. No Answer----Incoming calls are forwarded if not answered after a period of time. 2. Select the SIP Line (usually #1) and then the desired forward type: 4. Press the OK soft or hard key to accept the change. 3. Select โEnableโ and enter the โForward toโ number. For No Answer Forward, enter the โTimeโ in seconds to wait before forwarding. 4. Press the End soft key to disconnect all parties. 2.
