1.Lay the map, flatten creases → locate START (B5), CHECKPOINT (B2), and GOAL (B1). Place an obstacle (≥4 cm wide/light-colored for better detection) on the side of grid B2 closest to the robot. 2. Plan your route (Ensure the robot uses sensor commands to perform specified actions when passing through the obstacle grid) → arrange the code cards accordingly (many routes possible). 3.Short-press the power button to activate the robot → Input commands in the order from step 2. 4. Place the robot on the start point → press the start button and watch it go! Example: Activity Card 9 – Move from B5 to B1 via ob- stacle grid B2 b. Sensor Mode Example: Activity Card 7 – Move from A3 to C1 via loop grid C3 1.Lay the map, flatten creases → locate START (A3), CHECKPOINT (C3), and GOAL (C1). 2. Plan your route (Ensure the robot uses loop commands to perform specified actions when passing through the loop grid) → arrange the code cards accordingly (many routes possible). 3.Short-press the power button to activate the robot → Input commands in the order from step 2. 4. Place the robot on the start point → press the start button and watch it go! a. Loop Mode 3.2.2 Advanced Play 1.Lay the map, flatten creases → locate START (A1), CHECKPOINT (B4), and GOAL (D2). 2. Plan your route → arrange the code cards accordingly (many routes possible). 3.Short-press the power button to activate the robot → Input commands in the order from step 2. 4. Place the robot on the start point → press the start button and watch it go! 3.2.1 Basic Play Example: Activity Card 4 – Move from A1 to D2 via B4 Please check the activity cards and activity guide first! Flatten the map before use, especially along creases. Play with the Activity Card and Map!Play with the Activity Card and Map! 3.2 Gameplay Instructions 1. New commands can be appended after program execution completes. Pressing START again will restart execution from the beginning, including the newly added commands. Commands are only cleared by CLEAR or by powering off. 2. Maximum 64 commands per program; exceeding this triggers a sound-and-light error. 3. Only one SENSOR subroutine and one LOOP subroutine are allowed. To modify, long-press (3s) CLEAR to clear all commands and re-enter them. 4. During execution, only the Pause button is functional. After pausing, only the Start button can resume execution—other buttons are disabled. NOTES LED INDICATOR 4 LED lights with 7 colors indicate different statuses SPEAKER Plays sound effects and music. CLEAR – Short press: clear the last command. – Long press (3s): clear all commands. ACTION Robot has 3 built-in demo routines. A short press will randomly execute one of them. FORWARD: Robot moves forward one step. REVERSE: Robot moves reverse one step. TURN LEFT: Robot turns 90° left on the spot. TURN RIGHT: Robot turns 90° right on the spot. START / PAUSE – First short press: executes entered commands in order. – Second short press: pauses immediately. – Single press: Starts Double press: Pauses SENSOR Press to enable object detection. If an object is detected during program execution, the robot will immediately execute the set SENSOR subroutine. If the subroutine is empty, the program pauses by default. POWER BUTTON When off: – Short press once → Powers on in Button Mode. – Short press 3 times → Powers on in Bluetooth Mode. When on: – Short press once → Powers off. LOOP Press to repeat a single command or a series of commands (i.e., the LOOP subroutine). Press the Sensor button — all subsequent commands will belong to the SENSOR sub-routine. Thus, this SENSOR subroutine can only be set at the end of the program. Example: FORWARD – FORWARD – FORWARD – SENSOR – TURN RIGHT (This program makes the robot move forward 3 steps. If an object is detected during movement, it will immediately turn right before continuing the remaining commands. If no object is detected, it will only execute the 3 forward steps.) NOTES: 1.Upon detection, the SENSOR subroutine executes immediately. If triggered again during execution, the subroutine restarts. 2. A running command is interrupted as soon as an object is detected; after the SENSOR subroutine finishes, the main program resumes. 3.Only one SENSOR subroutine is allowed. 4. The SENSOR subroutine must be set at the program’s end. Pressing START confirms the SENSOR subroutine—subsequent added commands are not part of it. Clear commands within the subroutine re-enter the SENSOR subroutine setup mode. Setting the SENSOR subroutine Due to product design characteristics, robot movements (e.g., travel distance, rotation angle) may have slight variances. These may accumulate and amplify with repeated commands. TO PARENTS Marked functions are more advanced. Press the Loop button, enter the commands you want repeated, then press Loop again to close the subroutine. These commands form the LOOP subroutine. Each Loop press in the program executes the LOOP subroutine as many times as LOOP appears in the main program. Example: LOOP – TURN RIGHT – TURN RIGHT – TURN RIGHT – TURN RIGHT – LOOP – FORWARD – LOOP (This program makes the robot turn clockwise twice, move one step forward, then turn once.) NOTES: 1.No SENSOR commands are allowed inside a LOOP subroutine. 2. If only the start (no end) of the loop is set, the commands inside are treated as normal commands, and the LOOP subroutine fails to form. 3.The LOOP subroutine cannot be empty or exceed 6 commands. 4. Only one LOOP subroutine can be set per program, but it can be invoked multiple times. 5. When deleting, if the closing LOOP is removed, the robot re-enters LOOP-setup mode. Setting the LOOP subroutine 3.1 Function Introduction BUTTON MODE3 WARNING! To avoid battery leakage, please follow these instructions carefully. Failure to follow these instructions can result in battery acid leakage that may cause burns, personal injury, and property damage. Battery Care and Maintenance Tips •Be sure to insert batteries correctly (with adult supervision) and alway…
