HR50 Heart Rate Monitor User Manual Wuhan Qiwu Technology Co., Ltd. PRODUCT INTRODUCTION HR50 is a heart rate monitor. With iGPSPORT chest strap, it can provide accurate heart rate monitoring. HR50 supports heart rate transmission via ANT+ and Bluetooth protocols. It can be used with compatible GPS bike computers, sports watches and apps. You can view this user manual through iGPSPORTAPP or www.igpsport.com. Heart Rate Monitor Chest Strap IN THE BOX  HR50 Heart Rate Monitor ×1  Chest Strap×1  CR2032 Battery×1(pre-installed in the HRM)  Quick Start Manual×1 WEARING THE HEART RATE MONITOR 1. Wet the two electrode areas on the back of the chest strap; 2. Install the heart rate monitor on the metal buckle of the chest strap with the iGPSPORT logo facing up; 3. Wrap the strap around your chest, with the electrodes contacting your skin, then connect the hook to the loop; 4. Adjust the strap to fit your chest and keep the heart rate monitor right below the center of your chest, ensuring comfortable wearing without slipping. Note:Please remove the protective film of the heart rate monitor before using. Inaccurate heart rate will be caused if wear the strap too loose. INDICATOR LIGHTS Once the heart rate monitor is correctly worn, it will power on automatically with the LED indicator light illuminating. Upon finishing the exercise and removing the heart rate monitor, the device will enter sleep mode automatically.  No heart rate reading: Red light flashes  Heart rate reading: Green light flashes (the indicator light flashes 6 times and then automatically turns off, while the HRM remains working) CONNECTING WITH YOUR DEVICE 1. Please wear the heart rate monitor first to connect with compatible devices; 2. When pairing, please keep the HR50 and the pairing device within 3 meters. Connections through ANT+ or Bluetooth are supported; Note: Only one Bluetooth device or APP is supported when connecting through Bluetooth. REPLACING THE BATTERY 1. Use a coin-shaped tool to rotate the battery cover counterclockwise by 90 degrees, moving the arrow on the battery cover from the locked position to the open position to remove the battery cover. 2. When installing a new CR2032 battery, ensure the positive side of the battery which with the mark “+” faces upward. Place the battery cover back onto the heart rate monitor, aligning the arrow on the battery cover with the open position. Then, use a tool to rotate the battery cover clockwise by 90 degrees, moving the arrow on the battery cover from the open position to the locked position to complete the installation. MAINTENANCE Please follow the maintenance instructions to ensure the normal use of the heart rate monitor. After each use, please remove the heart rate monitor from chest strap and wipe it with a soft towel. Please rinse it with 25°C clean water, wipe with a soft towel and hang or lay it flat to air dry naturally Attention! Do not use cleaners, fabric softeners, bleach, alcohol, or other chemicals to clean the chest strap. Do not wash the chest strap in a washing machine or use a dryer. Do not soak, dry clean, iron, or bleach the chest strap. The lifespan of the chest strap decreases with use. If it is damaged, please replace it with a new one.
