HOW SOLAR LIGHTS WORK During the day, the solar panel converts solar energy into electricity and stores it in the rechargeable battery. At night, the light is activated automatically. How long the light illuminates will depend on your geographical location, weather conditions, and seasonal light availability. CHOOSING AN IDEAL LOCATION FOR INSTALLATION Before the installation process, choose an outdoor location with full, direct sunshine where the solar panel can receive at least 6 hours of sunshine each day. Shady locations will influence the battery’s ability to receive an adequate enough of a charge and will shorten the working time of the light at nightfall.
