Wireless Remote Operations Guide FCC Warning This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Opera?on is subject to the following two condi?ons: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired opera?on. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protec?on against harmful interference in a residen?al installa?on. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruc?ons, may cause harmful interference to radio communica?ons. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a par?cular installa?on. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television recep?on, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: (1) Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna, (2) Increase the separa?on between the equipment and receiver, (3) Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected or (4) consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. If you have any ques?ons on the safe and proper opera?on of the wireless device please contact KOZY COAT at [email protected] ADJUSTING THE HEAT SETTINGS HIGH HEAT: Press the Wireless Dog Button for 2 - 3 seconds and a RED light will glow indicating the highest heat setting. After 5 minutes of high heat, the temperature of the coat will automatically change to a medium heat of BLUE. *MEDIUM HEAT: Once the coat is set for high heat (red button) press the Dog Button for 1 second and a BLUE light will glow activating the medium heat setting of approximately 130 degrees. *LOW HEAT: Press the button again for 1 second and a GREEN light will glow indicating the low heat setting of approximately 110 degrees. AUTOMATIC FUNCTION After 5 minutes at the high heat setting of RED, the temperature of the coat will automatically drop to a medium heat setting of BLUE. To release this function, manually cycle through all the colors one additional time. Your coat will then be set at a constant color temperature of your choosing. PAIRING THE WIRELESS DEVICE 1.) Turn on the battery by pressing the battery power button for 1 second or until the battery light glows. Connect the fully charged battery (see battery charging instructions) to the power wire found in the pocket of the coat. 2.) The battery will now send a short burst of power to the manual heat control Dog Button light on the garment. While sending power, the dog button on the garment will illuminate and quickly cycle through the colors of red, blue and green, and then turn off. The entire process takes 1-2 seconds to complete. 3.) Press the Wireless Remote Center Button until the center dog glows the same color as on the Dog Button on the coat. Your device is now paired and will operate with the wireless remote. 4.) To shut off the heat when not in use, hold the Wireless Remote Button for approximately 2 - 3 seconds and the colored indicator light and heat will shut off.
