P r o p r i e t a r y a n d C o n f i d e n t i a l I n f o r m a t i o n Page 2 | 5 Introduction The OV Valet™ TPD is a Token Payment Device key fob; it supports MST (Mag Stripe Reader) and NFC (Near Field Communications) technologies for payment and is controlled by a companion app (aka OV Loop) over a Bluetooth Low Energy connection. The application will be downloaded from the iOS AppStore or Google Play Store, create an account, connect the OV Valet™ TPD with your phone, load your credit and debit cards, and start making payment with your OV Valet™ TPD in the stores by holding your device close to the payment terminal reader and pressing the device button to make payment. Download and install the OV Loop app from the Apple AppStore or Google Play Store 2. Launch the OV Loop app and create a OV Loop account 3. Make sure the OV Valet™ TPD is charged and keep it next to your phone 4. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled in your phone and click on Connect Device button 5. For iOS, click on “Pair” button when prompted 6. When prompted, press and hold the OV Valet™ TPD button until you hear a beep 7. Click on the Add Card and follow instructions to load a card in the OV Valet™ TPD Select a card 1. Launch the OV Loop app 2. If you have more than one card, press and hold down on a card from the card list to select the card in OV Valet™ TPD Make a payment Place OV Valet™ TPD near POS terminal and press OV Valet™ TPD button to transmit card and make a payment O V L o o p, I n c . Please use adaptor with output 5.0V/5.5V to charge this device. 3. Please check battery capacity of your device before charging. 4. If no output, just recharge it to go back to normal. 5. Never place the device in the water, close to a fire, or in low or high extreme temperatures. 6. Never let children play with the device, including accessories. 7. Please do not disassemble and refit the device to alter the protection system. 8. Please contact or send the device to dealer service center for examination and repair immediately for any repairs, services, or concerns. 9. Please be careful in pulling in and out the USB Cable to avoid the damage to the socket 10. Please do not press the button with force to avoid the damaging the switch 11. This product will have a 5% discharge automatically if not in use. Please ensure to charge the device once at least every 3 months to maintain its optimum functionality. 12. With high usage the device, it is normal that it will become warm but not enough to burn your hand. 13. After charging your devices, please remove the cable to preserve the battery capacity of this product. 14. The manual will be updated on the OV Loop website as the product upgrades occur. 15. The supplier nor manufacturer will be responsible for handling, storing, or using this device other than intended or instructed. 16. This product has a built-in lithium polymer battery. 17.
