User Manual 1) Device layout Power button: Switch device on/off SIM Card slot: Insert nano-sim card TYPE-C connector: To charge this device Headphone jack: 3.5mm Headphone jack for headphones(Temporarily not open / use when holding) USBConnector: To charge a mobile phone Volumn button: To adjust volumn Translation Buton: Press to translate 2) Power ON/OFF Power ON: Press and hold the "Power button" for 2 seconds. The screenlights up and the animation on screenindicates that the device is turned on, system will boot to MSA User Interface. Power OFF: Press and hold the "Power button" for 2 seconds, the screen will show "Shutdown" or "Restart". Select "Shutdown", the screen turn off indicates that the machine has been shut down. Restart: Press and hold the "Power button" for 2 seconds, the screen will show "Shutdown" or "Restart". Select "Restart", the screen will turn offand lights up again, the animation on screen indicates that device is restarting, system will boot to MSA user Interface. 3) Connecting to Internet Built-in virtual SIM card for network connection: Wait for network signal on the upper right corner after power on. The network connected successfully when the signal shows "4G". SIM card slot: Please power off the device, Insert the nano-sim card, and then turn on the device. The network is connected successfully if the network signal on the upper right corner shows “4G”. If you insert the nano-sim card during device power-on state, please restart the device and wait for the network signal shows “4G”. 4) Voice Translation Select"Voice Translation" feature and choose the languages to be translate. Press and hold the "Translation button" to speak, and release the button after speaking, the screen will display the original text, translate it into the corresponding language, and broadcast the translated language. Click on the "small speaker" icon of the translated sentence to listen to the translation again. 5) Group Chat Translation To create group chat:Select “Group chat” feature, press “Create” button, select your own language. Inform group chat members about the “Group number”on the top left corner to join the meeting. To join the meeting: Insert the corresponding “Group number”given by group creator, click the "Join" button, select your own language, check the corresponding group number is shown on the top left corner, you have successfully joined the group meeting. To speak, press and hold the "translation button" on the side and speak, release the button after you have finished speaking. Everyone's speech in the group will be translated into the language of your choice. What you say is also translated into the language of others' choice. 6) Presentation Mode (β) To create a speech: Select "Presentation Mode (β)" feature, choose "Create" button, and select your own language. Inform all audiences about the “Room number”on the top left corner to join the presentation. To join the lecture: Enter the number corresponding “Room number”, click "Join" button, select your own language, check the correctroom number shown on the top left corner, and you have successfully joined the lecture. The device used to createand start a presentation room is the “default speaker”, and ONLY this device can perform voice input. Press the "Translate button" on the side to start recording, the speaker can start speaking, and the device recognizes and translates. When you wish to stop record and translate, simply press the "Translate button" again to “pause” the recording. All the speaker’s speech will be translated into the choosen language on audience’s device. 7) Camera Translation Select the “Camera Translation” feature and then choose the language to be translate on the top. Point the camera to the content you wish to translate, click the "Capture" button below, choose "Confirm" button to start the translation for the picture. If the picture is blurred, you can choose to take another shot. Cameratranslation recognizes standard fonts text better, artistic or hand written fonts may not recognizes correctly. Settings To Adjust the volume: Drag the Volume bar left or right to adjust your desired volume level. To Adjust the brightness: Drag the Brightness bar left or right to adjust your desired brightness level. To Change the system language: Select “System Language”, and then choose your language needed. Currently only supports Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean. ToUpdate: Select "Check Version", and the system will automatically search for a newer version. System will start to download if new update found, please follow the installation prompt after the download is complete and click Install. About: Device IMEI number and battery level information.
