Users Manual

Since this product is based on Bluetooth connection, it does not work when the Bluetooth or GPS are off. For smartphones, Bluetooth does not work when GPS is turned off. Vehicles with APP KEY installed can be started and operated with only a smartphone with the app running without a smart key. If the smartphone is out of batteries, you can use it by logging in by installing the app on another smartphone. After using the smartphone, we recommend logging out after for your account security. If the vehicle's battery is out, the vehicle's door cannot be locked and unlocked. Use the smart key blade to open the door and charge the battery before using it. If you log in to another smartphone, you will be automatically logged out from the previous smartphone and can only be used on the recent phone you logged in. Security policy requires user confirmation, so the connection with the server is necessary. If the data connection works poorly, some functions may not work or be restricted. If the distance from the vehicle is a bit far, there may be a problem in the data transmission/reception even if the Bluetooth is connected. Try to get closer to the vehicle. If it doesn't work even when you get close, select the upper left button on the main screen and force close the app and restart. Vehicles from Kia Motors, the buttons on car door handles do not work when APP KEY is installed. Lock and unlock the door using your smartphone quickly and comfortably. If you try to lock the door with the door handle buttons, it may beep and reject to lock. This is not an error, use the ACHAKEY application to lock the door. Kia Motors door handle button usage guide. FCC Information The warranty period for App-key remains for a year. Each product contains individual warranties. The product quality guarantee for App-key is benefited from that is written in the warranty. The warranty period for App-key ends after a year from the date of purchase, so make sure to write down the day you purchased. Please refer to our 'Consumer Damage Compensation Policy' for specific warranty details. We are not responsible for the repair, exchange, refunds unless the product is returned due to a defect found in App-Key. The warranty for App-key cannot be issued again. Compensation rules for consumer's damages This product supports both Android and IOS. If you install from an unknown source or an unverified app, It could occur a problem to the connection or the actual functionalities. We are not responsible for malfunctions, data loss, and personal information leaks caused by the use of unverified apps. About unauthenticated applications. This product is a service that uses a smartphone as a smart key. First, you can lock and unlock the door without a smart key. Second, you can share your car key safely and easily within the app. We are not responsible for damages resulting from car crashes or theft, and we do not provide support for every consequence of accidents. Depending on the vehicle's manufacturer, vehicle type, and vehicle use conditions, the product's performance may be degraded or a few functions may not be supported, and the product's performance and specifications may differ depending on the firmware's version. About the product. This product is based on Bluetooth connection. both Bluetooth and GPS must be on. The warranty cannot be covered if the insurance sticker is damaged when disassembling. Do not let the module exposed in sunlight. Be careful not to let water in.
