Hardware Connection 1) Plug in power adapter, then power on. 2) Connect the FasTer and PC with a network cable. 3) Change PC IP to 192.168.1.200, subnet mask:255.255.255.0. 4) Run “FasterManagementTool.exe”, click “Add”, will pop-up a dialog, then click “Find”. Page: 3 of 13 5) FasTer list as follow: 6) Click “Add”, then input user name and password. Default user name:“admin”,password:“admin123” 7) Login success will display as follow : Page: 4 of 13 2. Register Staff 1)Double-click the listed FasTer to login automatically. 2) Click “Users” to register. Required to fill in personnel information, user ID and name. User ID cannot be empty and the length is less than 20 characters. User ID must be unique (not be duplicated). Click “Update” to select a photo. This photo should be less than 64KB in JPG format and less than 600 * 600 pixels. Page: 5 of 13 3)Batch import/export : Click “ Export ” ,select a path,then click “OK”. User Information.csv and xxx.jpg are exported as follows: Uo Open “User Information.csv”: Page: 6 of 13 Fill in the sheet, at least fill in user ID, name. Copy staff photo into the same folder, fill in filename on pictures column. Click “Import”, select “User Information.csv”, then it will be imported automatically. Recommend export staff information as backup. 3. AC Settings 1) Click “Permissions” 2) Change “Display settings” as you want. Click “Confirm” for changes to take effect. Page: 7 of 13 3) Adjust the threshold for better facial recognition effect, If the accuracy rate is low, please lower the threshold, if the false accepted rate is high, please raise the threshold. 4. Temperature Settings *This section is only valid for T2. Click “Advanced”, set alarm threshold, default 37.3°C.Select work mode, default FR+TEMP. FR: Facial Recognition, TEMP: Temperature detection. Click “Confirm” 5. Change IP 1) Click “Settings” Page: 8 of 13 2) Modify network parameters, then click “Confirm”. 3) Change PC IP in same gateway, then reconnect as section 1”Hardware connection”. 6. Precautions 1) Recommend distance : a) 500mm~2000mm (Only facial recognition) b) 500~700mm (Facial recognition and Temperature measurement) 2) Temperature measurement (T series only) a) Make sure your face is in the middle of detection windows and your forehead is in TEMP Zone, then keep it at least 1 second. b) For more accurate results, make sure your forehead is not obscured by hair, hat, etc. c) Temperature measurement data is for reference only, not for medical use 3) Tips when collecting/comparing face pictures a) Expression Keep your expression naturally when collecting or comparing face pictures, just like the expressions in the picture as below. Page: 9 of 13 Do not wear hat, sunglasses, or other accessories that can affect the facial recognition function. Do not make your hair cover your eyes, ears, etc. and heavy makeup is not allowed. b) Posture In order to get a good quality and accurate face picture, position your face looking at the camera when collecting or comparing face pictures. c) Size Make sure your face is in the middle of the collecting window. Remove the bottom screw of the mount with a hex key b. Remove the mount. c. Punch holes in the wall according to the fixed holes of the mount and screw the mount to the wall. d. Plug in the cable and secure FasTer A2/T2 on the mount. e. Lock the screws connecting the mount and FasTer A2/T2 with a hex key . 2) Support frame : a. Plug in the cable and secure FasTer A2/T2 on the support frame with screws. b. Use the hex key to loosen the screw, then tighten it at the right angle.
