The voltage supply of the module is 5VDC to 20VDC. For details refer to the operating instruction chapter 3 Electrical Specification. The module has a fixed integrated PCB-antenna. The operation frequency is 903.5Mhz to 927.5MHz. The modulation type is 2GFSK. 2.4 Limited module procedures Installations Notes: The module power supply range is 5VDC to 20VDC. When connect the module to the host device, the host device must power off. Make sure the module pins correctly installed 2.5 Trace antenna designs Not applicable. The module does have a fixed PCB-antenna. 2.6 RF exposure considerations This equipment complies with FCC’s RF radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. 2.7 Antennas PCB-antenna is permanently attached, can’t be replaced. The PCB-antenna design corresponds to the Silicon Labs reference design WES0118-01-APL915S-01. 2.8 Label and compliance information Each module has its own label with the FCC identification number. It is placed at the shielding of the module. 2.9 Information on test modes and additional testing requirements Contact senTec Elektronik GmbH for information on how to configure test modes for the module. 2.10 Additional testing, Part 15 Subpart B disclaimer The modular transmitter is only FCC authorized for the specific rule parts listed on the grant. The host product manufacturer, is responsible for compliance to any other FCC rules that apply to the host not covered by the modular transmitter grant of certification.

For antenna details see 17_AntSpec_WES0119-01-APB915D- 01 The spurious emission requirements are fulfilled (see attached test report). v Stand-alone test configuration The modular transmitter must be tested in a stand-alone configuration, i.e., the module must not be inside another device during testing for compliance with part 15 requirements. Unless the transmitter module will be battery powered, it must comply with the AC line conducted requirements found in §15.207. AC or DC power lines and data input/output lines connected to the module must not contain ferrites, unless they will be marketed with the module (see §15.27(a)). The length of these lines shall be the length typical of actual use or, if that length is unknown, at least 10 centimeters to insure that there is no coupling between the case of the module and supporting equipment. Any accessories, peripherals, or support equipment connected to the module during testing shall be unmodified and commercially available (see §15.31(i)). Y The module was tested in a standalone configuration and inserted into a module holder (see test report/test setup photos) vi Labelling The modular transmitter must be equipped with either a permanently affixed label or must be capable of electronically displaying its FCC identification number.
