Before using the GWSMART10 (hereafter referred to as "GWSMART10" or "Scan Tool"), please ensure that you read this user manual thoroughly. Be mindful of sections marked with “Note” or “Caution” as they provide important instructions for safe and correct operation. Safety Instructions for Proper Operation. To ensure safe operation of the GWSMART10 please follow the guidelines below:  Keep the device away from heat sources or fumes during use.  If the vehicle battery contains acid, avoid contact between your skin and the battery, and keep fire sources away during testing.  The exhaust gas of the vehicle contains harmful chemicals. Please ensure adequate ventilation.  Do not touch the vehicle cooling system components or exhaust manifolds when the engine is running due to the high temperatures reached.  Make sure the car is securely parked, Neutral is selected or the selector is at the P or N position to prevent the vehicle from moving when the engine starts.  Make sure the (DLC) Diagnostic Link Connector is functioning properly before starting the test to avoid damage to the Diagnostic Computer.  Do not switch off the power or unplug the connectors during testing.  Doing so may damage the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) and/or the Diagnostic Computer. GWSMART10 CAUTIONS  Avoid shaking, dropping, or disassembling the scan tool, as this may damage its internal components.  Use only your fingertips to interact with the LCD screen. Hard or sharp objects may cause damage.  Do not use excessive force.  Do not expose the screen to strong sunlight for a long period.  Please keep the scan tool away from water and moisture.  Store and use the scan tool only within the temperature ranges identified in the Technical Specifications section.  Keep the device away from strong magnetic fields. It supports multiple languages, making it suitable for use in various countries and regions. This OBD-II (On-Board Diagnostics version 2) scanner offers a range of comprehensive functions, enabling users to quickly access accurate diagnostic information. Key diagnostic capabilities include:  Full system diagnostics  Complete OBD-II functionality  Maintenance and reset functions, such as: o ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) bleed o Oil light reset o EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) reset o SAS (Steering Angle Sensor) reset o BMS (Battery Management System) matching o Injector coding o DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) regeneration o TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) reset, and more. Follow these steps: 1. Power on the tablet. GWSMART10 2. Connect the DB15 connector of main cable to VCI box. 3. Connect the OBDII-16 connector to DB15 connector of main cable,than plug the connector into the vehicle’s DLC port. 4. When the VCI box gets powered on,the tablet will automatically search for it and make a WIFI connection. The connection method is shown in the figure below: Wired connection 1. Connect DB15 connector to VCI box;connect OBDII-16 connector to vehicle’s DLC port. 2. Connect USB connector to VCI box;connect Type-C connector to the tablet.
