Us er Manual Wireless Carplay & Android Auto Adapte r Please read the manual carefully before use. Recommend keeping this manual for future reference. Compati bility Note Please make su re yo ur ca r su pports wired Carplay or Android Auto funct ions. Required iPhone 6 or later iPhone models with IOS 10 or above for wireless Carplay funct ion. Required an Android sm artphone that su pport latest Android Auto funct ion and with Android 11 or higher for wireless Android Auto funct ion. How to confirm if your car has Apple wired CarPlay or Android Auto function. Method 1: Connect yo ur iPhone or Android sm artphone to yo ur ca r by USB date ca ble and se e co nnect ion interface logo on yo ur ca r disp lay. Method 2: Check the co mpatible list below or ch eck with yo ur ca r manufact urer to se e if yo ur ca r has this ca pability. Check out the websi te for su pported ca r models https://www.apple.com/ios/carplay/available- models/ https.//www.android.com/auto/Compatibility# Compatibility-vehicles How to use 1. Start the car and wait for the car head until system to be loaded. 2. Connect the Wireless Carplay & Android auto adapter to the USB-A or USB-C port in your car. Please be sure plug the adapter into the port that is for wired apple Carplay or android auto. 3. After the device is successfully linked to the vehicle, there will be a Bluetooth prompt screen, and the Bluetooth name will be prompted as: smartBox-****. 4. Tu rn on the Bluetooth of your mobile phone, search and pai r the Bluetooth ‘smartBox-****’, and continue to agree to use it, then you can use the Carplay or android auto function normally. 5. Some models linked to Android Auto will not display the Bluetooth prompt interface. But it doesn't matter, you can directly search for Bluetooth ‘smartBox-****’ on your mobile phone, pair it and use Android auto normally. You are ready to enjoy wireless Carplay or wireless Android Auto now. Please note that you should keep your phone Bluetooth turned on, so that you can automatically link Carplay or android auto next time. Carplay Connection And roid Auto Connection Please note 1. The wireless Carplay & Android Auto adapter worki ng princi ple is: use s Bluetooth to est ablish a pairing between the iPhone or Android sm artphone and the ve hicl e, then sw itch es to usi ng Wi-Fi to maintain the wireless co nnect ion. 2. Please ensu re wireless Carplay & Android auto Adapter power indica tes blue light is on. 3. Please ensu re that yo ur ca r models su pport wired Carplay or Android auto funct ions. FQA 1. What is the Wi-Fi passw ord for the Wireless Carpl ay & Android Auto Adapter? We need to co nnect the Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi. After Bluetooth match ing is su cce ssf ul, Wi-Fi will automatica lly co nnect . So no need Wi-Fi passw ord. Make su re yo ur Wi-Fi is turned on and unoccu pied when pairing. 2. After pairing Android Auto adapter, ca n’t st art Android Auto funct ion or co mpatible, ca n’t reco gnize the USB... 1) lf yo ur ca r has use the android auto funct ion for the first time, please use yo ur date ca ble to co nnect yo ur phone to act iva te android auto through a wired method. 2) Please make su re that android auto on yo ur android phone is the last ve rsi on. lf not, please update to the latest ve rsi on. 3) Please turn off the Bluetooth of yo ur phone and enter the mobile applica tion management to se arch auto to cl ear the auto ca ch e. After the cl eaning is co mpleted, rest art the adapter and reco n nect to Bluetooth. 3. Audio input or output issu es: ca lls reject ed or forwarded to vo ice mail / no play so und / micr ophone not worki ng /musi c playb ack interrupted or pause d /vo ice funct ioning abnormally. 1) Please ch eck if the iPhone or Android sm artphone's Bluetooth co nnect to other devi ce s su ch as Earphone, watch , etc. lf so , please disco nnect other auto-co nnect ed Bluetooth devi ce s, and android sm artphone also need to co nnect to the ve hicl e Bluetooth for android aut o. 2) When on a ca ll, ch eck that yo ur ‘Audio’ output option is Carplay or Android Auto. 4. When use the wireless Carplay & Android Auto Adapter whether Mobile Phone ca n use other internet Wi-Fi? When enjoyi ng the wireless Carplay or Android Auto adapter funct ion, the phone's Wi-Fi will be occu pied by the adapter, so yo u ca n’t use other internet at the sa me time, yo u only ca n use yo ur phone SIM ca rd internet. 5. Unable to automatica lly reco nnect 1) Please make su re that the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi funct ions of yo ur mobile phone are turned on and the Bluetooth is not occ upied when yo u get in the ca r. 2) Clear the pairing reco rd, rest art the phone and repair the Adapter. 6. Can the adapter be paired with multiple phones? The adapter ca n be paired with maxi mum five phones, but only one devi ce ca n be co nnect ed at a time. If yo u would like to pair it with a new phone, please ca nce l the cu rrent co nnect ion first . Please note, by Bluetooth funct ion default, the adapter's syst em will only auto-co nnect back to the last use d phone. 7. Can't find the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi of the wireless Carplay & Android Auto Adapter? Please make su re wireless Carplay & Android auto adapter power indica tes blue light is on and be su re plug the adapter into the port that is for wired Carplay or Android auto. lf co nve nient, please test it with another phone. lf only a sp eci fic phone ca nnot find the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi of the adapter, please try to rese t the network and Bluetooth se ttings of this phone, and then rest art the phone once . If the sa me problem happens on the other phone, it may be defect ive , please let us kn ow. 8. Th e indicator light of the adapter is still on after the car is turned off. The ca r does not cu t off all power immediately when the engine is turned off. The adapter's light will not go out immediately; it will turn off after a few minutes.
