Users Manual

Installation USB PALYER HVIN: PP107338, U3080A Please read the instruction carefullybefore operating the unit. User Installation ATTENTIONS OF INSTALLATION 1.This player should be installed by professional technician. 2. please read the instruction and operation of equipment carefully before installing. 3. Make sure to connect other wires before power connection. 4. To avoid short circuit. Please make sure all the exposed wire are insulating. 5. please fix all the wires after installation. 6. please make connection to the player accordingly to this instruction manual. Wrong connection may cause damage. 7. This player only fit for 12V DC device and please make sure your car belongs to this kind of cathode grounding electrical system. 8. Please connect the wires rightly. Wrong connection will cause malfunction or damage the electrical system. INSTALL THE UNIT 1. DIN Front-Mount Installation WIRING CONNECTION 1. This player can only be used by the 12V DC. 2. Don’t connect to the battery until the player is absolutely well connected. 3. Please make sure to connect the yellow wire to the positive of the battery(+). 4. When change the fuse. Please make sure the specifications are same. 5. Using good quality speaker with 4‐8 ohm can result in the best effect of the equipment. Operation 1. SRC 2. MIC 3. / BAND 4. Push/Menu 5. LCD display 6. USB port 7. AUX IN jack 8. 6 DIR+ 9. 5DIR- 10. 4 RDM 11. 3 RPT 12. 2 SCN 13. 1 14. TS 15. 16. Reset button 17. (seek down) 18. DISP 19. (seek up) 20. /Mute Operation BASIC OPERATION Turn on/off the unit and Mute function Press /MUTEbutton to turn on the unit. When the unit is on. Shortly press this button for mute on/off. Press and holdthis button to turn off the unit. Audio and setting menu adjustment Repeatedly pressMENU button forthe audio menu: BASS->TRE->BAL->FAD->EQ (class/rock/pop/flat)->LOUD (on/off) Press and hold MENUbutton for the setting menu: TA(on/off )->PTY SEL ->SW VOL->LPF(80/120/160)->BEEP(on/off)->CLOCK (24/12) ->P_VOL(0~40)->CT(INDEP/SYNC)->DX/LOC ->STEREO/MONO In each item rotate the VOL knob to set them. SW VOL:Subwoofer volume adjustment (0~20) LPF:Subwoofer Low Pass Filter setting (80Hz/120Hz/160Hz). BEEP (ON/OFF): Turn on/off the beep sound. CLOCK 24/12: Setting the time to 24H or 12H format. P-VOL (Preset VOL): Setting the power on volume. If the volume at shutdown is small than the P-VOL. Next time turn on the unit, the volume will be maintained at shutdown volume. If the volume at shutdown is greater than the P-VOL. Next time turn on the unit the volume will be restored to the P-VOL value. CT(INDEP/SYNC): CT INDEP: The clock works independently. CT SYNC: The clock will be synchronized to the received RDS station’s time. Note:When the time was set by manual. The CT will back to INDEP mode automatically. DX/LOC (Distance/Local): LOC:Receive the strongsignal station only. DX: Receivestrong and weak signal station. STEREO/MONO: STEREO: Receiving FM stereo signal. MONO:Change to monochrome. When the signal is not good. Changing it to MONO mode will reduce the noise. Clock setting Press and hold DISP button. The “HH” will be flashing. Rotate VOL knob to adjust the hour. After that press DISP or MENU button the “MM” will be flashing. Rotate VOL knobto adjust the minute. Then press DISP orMENU button to confirm. Operation AUXILIARY INPUT Press SRC button to switch to AUX IN mode when inserted an audio source to theunit. Reset the unit Press RESETbutton to restoreall the data to factory settings. Note: all memories will be lost. RADIO OPERATION Receive a radio station Press SRC button to select RADIO source. Then press BAND button to select a band. Shortly press / button to receive the desired radio station. Press and hold / button for manual tuning the frequency. Auto Store station Press and hold BANDbutton for 2 seconds to auto store stations to numeric buttons 1-6 of band 1~3. Manually store station & recall preset station When received a station. Press and hold one of the 1- 6 preset button for 2 seconds. The current station is stored into the number button. Shortly press the preset button (1~6) to directly listen the station that saved in the corresponding preset button. RBDS (Radio Data System) operation Traffic Announcement (TA) In TA item of the setting menu (press and hold VOL knob). Setting the TAto on/off. TAon: When received a TA station it will switch temporarily to radio mode to listen to the TA station whatever in RADIO/USB/AUX/BT mode. If the volume level was under the TA volume it will be raised to the TA volume automatically. TA stop (TA interruptionfunction): It allow you temporarily back to previous mode till next TA station was received. TA off: Turn off the TA function. PTY operation In PTY item of the setting menu (press and hold VOL knob). When shows the TPY SEL.Rotating the VOL knob to select PTY kinds. When shown the PTY kind you want. Press SEL knobto search. Operation USB PLAY OPERATION When an USB is inserted to the unit.The unit will start to play a song. If an USB is already inserted in the unit. Keep pressingSRC button shortly until the USB mode display appears. Select file Press /button to skip to next/previous file. Hold / button to fast forward or fast reverse. Play/Pause Press button to pause/playing the file. SCN function: Press 2 SCN button to play the first 10 seconds each file. Press it again to cancel this function. RPT function: Press3 RPT button to select RPT ONE or RPT ALL mode. Random function: Press RDM buttonto on/offthe random playing function. Select a Directory Press DIR+/DIR- button to select directory upward or downward. +10/-10 file function Press and hold DIR+/ DIR- button for 2 seconds to skip +10/-10 file to play. Song search There are two way of search file as below. 1) DIR search: Pressbuttonfor one time.It shows “DIR SCH”. Rotating VOL knob to select the folder then press MENU knob into this folder.
