Please read this guide before use and keep it for future reference. This is a general guide for Cronus ATS PRO family of thermal Clip-Ons, which means that the specific model you receive may differ from the picture in this guide. 2 EN DE FR IT ES PL - FCC WARNING - This equipment may generate or use radio frequency energy. Changes or modifications to this equipment may cause harmful interference unless the modifications are expressly approved in the instruction manual. The user could lose the authority to operate this equipment if an unauthorized change or modification is made. This unit complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This unit may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this unit must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The unit has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirement. The unit can be used in portable exposure condition without restriction. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital unit, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful 3 EN DE FR IT ES PL interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. • The rating information is located at the bottom of the unit. - PRECAUTIONS - DANGER 1) Please charge the battery with the battery charger provided. Be sure to place the battery (+/-) in the right position. Improper battery charging will cause heating, damage and even physical injury. 2) Do not try to open or disassemble the battery at any time. 4 EN DE FR IT ES PL WARNING 1) This unit contains advanced electronics. To prolong the life of this unit, avoid any undue physical damage or violent actions; 2) Do not use or store the equipment in an environment that exceeds the allowable operating or storage temperature; 3) Do not directly aim the equipment at high-intensity thermal radiation sources, such as the sun, lasers, spot welding machines, etc.; 4) Avoid allowing debris to enter any ports in this optic. 5) Do not knock, throw or vibrate instruments and accessories to avoid damage; 6) Any modifcation, alterations or attempts to dissassemble this unit will void the user's warranty. All repairs must be made through Athlon Optics. 7) Avoid contaminating this unit with oils or solvents. 8) Please observe the following measures when wiping this unit: • Non-optical surface: Use clean and soft cloth to wipe the non-optical surface of the thermal unit; 5 EN DE FR IT ES PL • Optical surface: When using the thermal unit, avoid contaminating the optical lens surfaces of this unit. Avoid touching the objective lens with your hands. Oils and solvents, can degrade the lens coatings. When the surface of the optical lens is polluted, use special lens paper to wipe it carefully; 9) Do not place the battery in a high temperature or near a high-temperature object; 10) Do not short circuit the positive and negative poles of the battery; 11) Do not expose the battery to moisture or water; 12) Only use the original chargers and adapters provided with this unit. - PRODUCT INTRODUCTION - Athlon Optics thermal Clip-on can be mounted through included QD mount in front of a LVPO optical sight or clipped on the objective side of a traditional hunting scope through an optional adapter. 6 EN DE FR IT ES PL - STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION - The following is the correct storage and transportation of the product. To prevent damage to yourself or the unit, please read the manual carefully before using it. STORAGE: 1) The unit and accessories including batteries shall be stored in a well-ventilated, clean, condensate- free and corrosive gas-free room with temperature of -22°F ~ 140°F (-30°C ~ 60°C) and relative humidity not exceeding 95%. 2) To prevent battery damage, the unit and batteries should be charged every 3 months.
