Mapping 2.1 Environmentalpreparation 1. Try to sweepat a pointin timewhenthe areato be sweptis empty,or less crowded. 2. Try to removefrequentlymovingobjectsfromthe areato be swept. 3. For reflective,translucentand light-absorbingobjectsin the scene,try to stickother materialsthat do not affectthe normalscanningof the lidarat the lidarscanningplane of the robotif the conditionsis allowed. 2.1.1NavigatingPOI points Note: 1) If thereis an obstaclenearthe POI, it mustbe greaterthan40cm. 2) WhenbuildingPOI points,try to movethe robotdirectlyto the specifiedlocation and createPOI pointsat the currentlocation,so that the POI pointsstationcreated are highlyaccurate. 2.1.2Locationof chargingstation The locationof the chargingstationhas a significantimpacton the successof the machine'sautomaticreturnto the chargingstation, so a suitablelocationneedsto be selectedaccordingto the followingrequirements. Chargingstationlocationselectionconsiderations: 1) Obstacleson the left and rightsidesneedto be largerthan35cm. 4 / 22 Copyright(c) 2016-2023ShanghaiSlamtecCo.,Ltd. 2) The chargingstationneedsto be againsta wall,not placedin an areasuchas a mirroredwall or a hollowedout back. 3) The chargingstationlocationshouldnot be placedon a soft floorsuchas carpet, otherwiseit will createa heightdifferenceand will not be ableto be charged 4) The locationof the chargingstationin the sceneneedsto be markedto prevent incorrectrecoveryaftermoving. Obstaclesinclude:magneticstripsfor obstacleavoidance,virtualforbiddenarea,and physicalobstacles.
