The 8th Generation Advanced Amlogic TruLife Image Engine supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR, HLG and HDR Vivid processing, independent HDR re-mapping of video and graphic layer, motion compensated noise reduction and motion adaptive deinterlacer. The all new, dedicated hardware NPU allows the implementation of Neural Network, which enables AI-based picture quality enhancer (AI-PQ) and AI-based resolution upscaling (AI-SR) function. AI-PQ offers real-time scene detection based on picture contents, picture time and space characteristics; whereas AI-SR offers real-time picture detail upscaling of 2X (1080 content), 3X (720 content) and 4X (480 content), providing a much better upscaling picture quality than traditional non-AI based media players. Power LED - The LED glows BLUE when U8K-ULTRA is turned on, RED when suspended. Power Button - To power on the U8K-ULTRA, press the power button once, the power LED’s color will switched from red to blue. To power off the U8K-ULTRA, press and hold the power button until the display shows the power menu options, select OK to confirm your choice. The device can also be turned off using the bundled remote controller. USB 3.0 / OTG Port - The USB 3.0 port is for connecting to an external high-speed USB device, such as USB flash drive and SSD. This port also serves as an OTG port, the OTG port function can be enabled inside of the settings manual. USB 2.0 Port - The USB 2.0 port is for connecting to other USB peripherals such as USB camera, wireless keyboard and mouse set, etc. Micro-SD Card Reader - Increase the storage capacity or read files directly from a micro-SD card slot, supports up to 1TB capacity. 3.5mm Audio Jack - Connect external audio output device. USB-C Power-in Jack - Connect to the included USB-C PD power adapter. HDMI Port - Connect the U8K-ULTRA via HDMI to a TV or monitor using the included HDMI cable. Gigabit Ethernet Port - Connect an Ethernet cable for wired Internet access up to 1000Mbps. S/PDIF Out Port - Connect to an external sound processing unit, such as a sound bar or amplifier. 3.5mm Audio Jack - Connect to an external audio device, such as speakers or earphones. Step 2: Connect the Power Connect the supplied USB-C PD power adapter to the USB-C power input port. Press and hold the power button for around 1 second to turn on the device, the blue power LED should then glow. Step 3: Turn on your TV or monitor Turn on your TV or monitor and set to the corresponding input connected with the U8K-ULTRA. Step 4: Language Setup You may choose the desired system language by following these steps: Launcher Home Screen > Settings > Device Preferences > Language The default language is English (United States).
