When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons, including the following: ATTENTION! • IMPORTANT - This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fitfully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. • To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the appliance directly into the right AC electrical outlet. • Keep the cord out of heavy traffic areas. To avoid fire hazard, NEVER put the cord under rugs, near heat registers, radiator, stoves or heaters. • The power plug must be connected in such a way as to avoid risks if the humidifier is tipped over or liquid is spilled. • Ensure that the mist outlet, air inlet and outlet is not covered. • If the power outlet used to operate the humidifier is not properly connected, the power plug of the device will get hot. Ensure that you are using a properly connected power outlet for the humidifier. • DO NOT add hot water into the water tank. Use only cold water (tap water, distilled water, or other drinking water) • DO NOT drink the water used in the water tank or device base and do not use it for animals or plants. Empty the water tank and base into a drain. • DO NOT touch the PTC heater to avoid burning. MYST_User_Manual_V2.indd 2 7/14/21 12:11 PM ! • DO NOT operate the device if the power plug or power cord is defective. • DO NOT spray flammable materials, e.g. pesticides or fragrances, near the humidifier. • DO NOT place any objects on top of the humidifier, and do not sit or stand on it. • DO NOT use the humidifier after using incense for insect protection or in places with oil residue or chemical vapors or where incense sticks are burnt. • DO NOT use the humidifier near heaters, fireplaces, or gas powered devices. • DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this device. Doing so will void your warranty. The inside of the device contains no user serviceable parts. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only. • DO NOT use outdoors. • NEVER tilt, move, or attempt to empty the base while it is in operation. Power off and unplug before moving the device. • NEVER use detergents, gasoline, glass cleaner, furniture polish, and paint thinner, or other household solvents to clean any part of the humidifier. • NEVER place the base under water flow or immerse in liquids. • Clean the base and water tank every week to get the clean and hygienic mist. DOING SO MAY VOID YOUR WARRANTY AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE HUMIDIFIER OR RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY. ISSUE CHECKLIST POSSIBLE SOLUTION No mist Whether power is on Press the power button. Whether power plug is plugged tightly Unplug and then plug again. When the power is returned, try again. Whether water tank is not empty or attached to the base correctly Add water and make sure the tank is correctly attached to the base. Whether the ultrasonic trans- ducer is not covered by white dust, scale or other objects. Clean the ultrasonic transducer or remove the objects on it. Air blows but no mist Whether the ultrasonic transducer is not covered by white dust, scale or other objects. Clean the ultrasonic transducer or remove the objects on it. Suggest to use soft or distilled water if your area has hard water. The humidity has a bad smell Whether water is clean and no foreign objects in the water Clean the device thoroughly, and fill it with fresh water. White dust is forming on Whether your area uses hard water Use distilled water if this becomes a nuisance. Remember to clean the filter after use for a short time. Device has stopped working Whether water tank is not empty or attached to the base correctly Add water and make sure the tank is correctly attached to the base. Keep the device away at least 4 inches/10 cm from walls for best results. 2. To ensure optimum performance of the device, please ensure that the mist outlet, air inlet and outlet are not covered. 3. Inspect the power cord to ensure that it is not damaged. 4. Add water to the water tank and ensure water level not exceeding the “MAX” mark. 5. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.
