V01222025 Certification for Designating a U.S. Agent for Service of Process In compliance with section 2.911(d)(7), all applicants are required to appoint a U.S.-based contact to serve as their agent for service of process. This requirement applies to both domestic and foreign applicants. Entities located within the United States are permitted to designate themselves as their own agent for this purpose. Regardless of the applicant’s status, the designation of the U.S. agent must be included as an attachment to the equipment authorization application. The written certification must adhere to the following requirements: 1. It must bear the signatures of both the applicant and the designated U.S. agent for service of process, provided the agent is a separate entity from the applicant. 2. It must clearly state the applicant’s consent and confirm the agent’s obligation to accept service of process on the applicant’s behalf. 3. It must include a physical address and email address located in the United States for the designated agent. 4. It must acknowledge that the applicant will maintain the designated agent’s role for at least one year after ceasing all marketing and importation activities or upon the conclusion of any FCC-related proceedings involving the equipment. Key Details Regarding the U.S. Agent for Service of Process: ● The agent cannot be a Telecommunication Certification Body (TCB) or have affiliations with one (e.g., the agent cannot work for or be owned by a TCB or a related company). ● The agent must not be an FCC-recognized testing laboratory or have affiliations with one (e.g., the agent cannot work for or be owned by a test lab or a related company). ● The agent may be an individual or a company entity. ● The designated agent entity must have a physical U.S. address and phone number. ● It is recommended that the agent possess a Federal Registration Number (FRN), and including the FRN in the agent letter is considered best practice. ● The agent designation letter may be general for the grantee and is not required to be FCC ID-specific. If there is a change in the U.S. Agent for Service of Process for devices that are still being marketed or have ceased marketing for less than one year, the TCB must request the FCC to place the application in Audit Mode for every relevant TC Number. The updated agent letter will then need to supersede the previous version. Important Note: The role of the U.S. Agent for Service of Process should not be confused with the authorized agent responsible for signing the FCC Form 731, cover letters included in the application, or the agent who interacts directly with the TCB. Note for Attestation Letter: Print the attestation letter onto the manufacturer's corporate letterhead prior to submission. FCC ID: 2BN2L-GEN2S3 According to KDB 447498 D04 Interim General RF Exposure Guidance v01 1. SAR-based Exemption A more comprehensive exemption, considering a variable power threshold that depends on both the separation distance and power, is provided in § 1.1307(b)(3)(i)(B). This exemption is applicable to the frequency range between 300 ㎒ and 6 ㎓, with test separation distances between 0.5 ㎝ and 40 ㎝, and for all RF sources in fixed, mobile, and portable device exposure conditions. Accordingly, a RF source is considered an RF exempt device if its available maximum time-averaged (matched conducted) power or its effective radiated power (ERP), whichever is greater, are below a specified threshold. This exemption threshold was derived based on general population 1-g SAR requirements and is detailed in Appendix C. 2. RF Exposure Test Exemptions for Single Source Mode Frequency Range (㎒) Minimum Separation Distance (㎝) Maximum Average Target Power (㏈m) Tolerance (㏈) Maximum Average Output Power Ant. Conclusion: No SAR is required.

Maximum Peak Conducted Output Power 4.1. Test Setup EUT Attenuator Power Sensor Test Note PC 4.2. Limit According to §15.247(b)(3), for systems using digital modulation in the 902-928 ㎒, 2 400-2 483.5 ㎒, and 5 725- 5 850 ㎒ bands: 1 Watt. As an alternative to a peak power measurement, compliance with the one Watt limit can be based on a measurement of the maximum conducted output power. Maximum Conducted Output Power is defined as the total transmit power delivered to all antennas and antenna elements averaged across all symbols in the signaling alphabet when the transmitter is operating at its maximum power control level. Power must be summed across all antennas and antenna elements. The average must not include any time intervals during which the transmitter is off or is transmitting at a reduced power level. If multiple modes of operation are possible (e.g., alternative modulation methods), the maximum conducted output power is the highest total transmit power occurring in any mode. According to §15.247(b)(4), the conducted output power limit specified in paragraph (b) of this section is based on the use of antennas with directional gains that do not exceed 6 ㏈i. Except as shown in paragraph (c) of this section, if transmitting antennas of directional gain greater than 6 ㏈i are used, the conducted output power from the intentional radiator shall be reduced below the stated values in paragraph (b)(1), (b)(2), and (b)(3) of this section, as appropriate, by the amount in ㏈ that the directional gain of the antenna exceeds 6 ㏈i. Test Procedure The test follows section 11.9.1.3 of ANSI C63.10-2013. PKPM1 Peak-reading power meter method - The maximum peak conducted output power may be measured using a broadband peak RF power meter. The power meter shall have a video bandwidth that is greater than or equal to the DTS bandwidth and shall utilize a fast-responding diode detector. The test follows section 11.9.2.3.2 of ANSI C63.10-2013. Method AVGPM-G (Measurement using a gated RF average-reading power meter) - Alternatively, measurements may be performed using a wideband gated RF power meter provided that the gate parameters are adjusted such that the power is measured only when the EUT is transmitting at its maximum power control level. Since this measurement is made only during the ON time of the transmitter, no duty cycle correction is required. Test program: (S/W name: R&S Power Viewer, Version: 3.2.0) 1. Initially overall offset for attenuator and cable loss is measured per frequency. 2. Measured offset is inserted in test program in advance of measurement for output power. 3. Power for each frequency (channel) of device is investigated as final result. 4. Final result reported on this section from R&S power viewer program includes with several factors and test program shows only final result.
