When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, always follow basic safety precautions, including the following: Intended Use •This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed in the use of the product by a person responsible for their safety. •Do not use as a toy. Close supervision is required when children or pets are near or using the appliance. Children and pets should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device. •Do not use this appliance with pets that cannot reach the water tray or have physical disabilities. •For indoor use only. This appliance is intended for household use as described in this manual. Electrical Safety •Do not operate the appliance if the power cable or plug is damaged, if the appliance malfunc- tions, or if it has been damaged in any way. •Do not immerse the power cable, plug, or base in water or any other liquid, and do not allow moisture to contact these parts. •If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards. •Always unplug the appliance when not in use, before installing or removing parts, and before cleaning, maintenance, or servicing. •Use only the supplied power adapter and charging cable. ! 4 About Use •Do not operate the water fountain without water. Do not allow the pump to run dry. •Do not install or store the water fountain in areas exposed to weather or temperatures below 40°F/0°C. •Do not place any foreign objects in the water tank. Do not use with water that is microbiologi- cally unsafe or of unknown quality. •Do not allow pets to chew or swallow any parts. Carefully cover or hide power cables to prevent pets from biting them. •Do not lift the water fountain by the lid or the water tray. Hold the water tank with both hands and keep the unit upright. •Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, modify, or replace any part of the device. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. All repairs must be performed by qualified personnel. •Replace the filter every 10 days, or sooner if water flow noticeably decreases. For two or more cats, more frequent replacement may be necessary. •Use only Molly&Cody–approved accessories and replacement parts. •Dispose of all packaging materials properly. Keep them away from children and pets. Proper Disposal of This Product (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) (For countries with separate collection systems) This symbol on the product, accessories, or manual indicates that the product and its electronic accessories must not be disposed of together with other household waste at the end of their service life. Take out the manual 1 Open the water basin, remove the bubble bag inside, then take out the pump, power cable, and filter cotton. Take out the pump 2 Open the filter slot under the basin, place the filter inside, then fasten the opening of the filter slot back onto the bottom of the basin. Insert the filter cotton 3 Clean the water fountain thoroughly before first use. For details, please refer to the operating steps. ! 7 Take out the pump and place it into the recessed area of the water tank to secure it. Install the pump 4 Fill the tank with purified water, keeping the water level between the MAX and MIN marks. Fill the tank with water 5 Insert the water tray with the installed filter cotton into the opening of the water tank until it is firmly seated. Install the water tray 6 MAX MIN 8 Turn the tank over, take out the supplied power cable, insert it into the power port on the side of the recessed area at the bottom, then tuck the cable into the cable groove. Connect the base power 7 Open the silicone cover on the back of the pump from the left side to expose the power port. Connect the power 8 Align the recessed point on the bottom of the tank with the raised point on the sensor base. Align the pump area with the sensing zone marked on the base, then secure it. Connect the sensor base 9 The entire base is not waterproof.
